OMFG!!1! This is ****ing brilliant!!1!
Arsing about in the "New Lab" and just playing with a few combos and getting used to defending and attacking. Getting completely PWNED, but the first thing that struck me (apart from the game's tongue-in-cheek tone) The defence mechanics alone are RIDICULOUS. From what I can figure out at this early stage, it's kinda a 4-tier system; L1 is 90 degree turn, Analog Stick Right + Left (or Right) is side-dash, Analog Stick Right + Top is Smith Standard (aka. "Dodge Bullets, Agent Style") and Analog Stick Right + Down is back-flip.
Thing is, if your wanting to get anywhere in this, then you have to learn how to defend/evade properly, otherwise Jean just ain't gonna level up if your trying to force your way through it without learning the system. Basically, every time you take a hit, Jean's level meter decreases and of course, this works vice versa too with the meter increasing with a successful hit.

Am I the only one thinking 'What the ****?' with this game? Pretty much every 5 minutes for me (usually as I'm getting my head kicked in again).... But it's got the feeling of 'Ugly game, deep mechanics'..
Gay Dancers? What the ****!
