Pro Evolution Soccer 6 (360)

Don't know if this is allowed, but played this game today at the HMV "PES6" day for the Games Festival (entered one of the tournaments and also won it but thats for another day) and it was pretty much the full version (had all the menus accessible (master league, match etc etc). From what I played of it the game is damn awesome. Including the tournament games I got about 10 games in (each 5 or 10 mins long) and that was enough to judge that it is a true step up from 5, everything just seems more realistic. Its hard to explain in words how its different you just have to play to realise yourself. Little things I noticed were that the crowd are much more vocal, you can now challenge the keeper for the ball when its in the air, shooting is slightly harder and the referees are slightly more leniant. Oh yeah and on the topic of graphics, they look very good, not great but still very good. From what I played I give a big next generation thumbs up! Can't wait for the official release copy!

Can you tell me if the crowd actually ROAR when theres a goal, or is it still just a slightly louder version of the standard atmosphere cheering?

Didn't notice about the crowd but I saw it yesterday. Looks beautiful and will be worth the slight delay.

Are the keepers still parrying shots into their own net or onto oncoming strikers?

wow a few questions to answer.

1. yeah the crowd actually does roar properly
2. the crowd is both in-game and replays
3. the game was only playable on that day i think, but not 100% sure.
4. keepers seemed much better, much harder to score

I had a shot on this a few weeks back. Unfortunatly it was only a 5 min kick around, but it seemed not bad. Faster than number 5, but not as fast as 4. Pro evo 3 was always my fave, and from the small play I had, it reminded me of it.

Wow i sure hope so, this was always Pro Evo's weakest part of the game. It was simply too easy to score especially from a short distance.

This may be a really dumb question, but how many players does the 360 version support on one machine?

I've played WE10 to death on PS2 but would consider buying a prettified 360 version on the proviso that it supports up to 8 players or so...

You can't connect 8 controllers to a 360

That should answer your question - my money's on 4 for offline but online it's a paltry 1-1

That was my fear, but I haven't got one yet so I wasn't 100% on that.

ok been playing this for about a good few hours now and as expected it is bloody amazing.......but.....(always a but)......konami seem to have forgot the save your replay/goal option....I scored an absolute belter and wanted to save it but there was no option to save, usually you press x and it allows you to save, but that does not seem to be present at all. I read the manual and it says press x to save but there is no on screen prompt that comes up on screen that says "X - Save". Highly strange
