Pro Evolution Soccer 6 (360)

Got this from work myself today as well as some store in Glasgow broke the street date (G-Force most likely).

I've only played a quick 5 minute a half game but it's pretty obvious straight away that it corrects a lot of mistakes in Pro Evo 5 i.e. no free kicks every 2 seconds, it just seems to flow a lot better than 5 and ai seems to have gone up a notch as well. Difficulty level has changed from a star rating to proper name e.g. "Regular" "Professional" etc.

Graphics are decent but not a huge step up from last gen versions and the frame rate is still kind of dodgy when scanning the field during goal kicks.UK teams are limited to Man U, Arsenal, Celtic and Rangers so no Chelsea this time round which is bizarre as John Terry is on the front cover. Stadiums that are initially selectable have preoper names now as well, dunno if 5 had this.

Yeah it's the 360 one, need to score a goal first before trying to save a replay

lol. you don't even need to score to save a replay, during a game just press pause and go to replay and try and save....when you do if you could let me know the outcome would be great.....wanna know if I got stuck with a copy that doesn't save. lol

Ive heard they excluded this function on the 360. Seems that way from the videos i was watching of the game yesterday as well.

Odd that its listed in the manual though. Im hoping its a mistake that they will rectify, but knowing Konami...

Why the hell wouldn't they put saving replays in the 360 version? That's a joke if true, thought this was supposed to be a 'next gen' version. Reduced edit mode, no replay saving ability... sounds like a total rush job if you ask me, and if all this proves to be the case i shall be cancelling my order and sticing to my Jpn copy of WE 10

I know what you mean. Cant help but feel like Konami have done this all on purpose in preperation for another version in March to coincide with the PS3 release.

God, this version is awful: no editing teams, no transfers possible, and NO goal saving! these are the very basics of PES/WE games and they just left it out. This is nothing technically or graphics related, it's just the basic game options. IMO unacceptable.

It just feels like an unfinished game. Not to mention it sometimes suffers from the 1-second slowdown when you score a goal/take corners. Like in the PS2 versions, something the Xbox PES games didn't have.

Looks awesome when the game is actually in play in HD but i'm severely disappointed in the final retail version.

Edit**Forgot to add theres a lot of now retired players still in there respective countrys starting eleven also.
