The biggest garden size is big enough to get a few species going on. I personally find it rather confusing with too many of the things in there. Unless you know what you're doing with the "who hates what" or have some fencing strategy, you'll just end up having loads of fights going on.

He probably means he's demolished all the animal houses etc.. there's no terraforming as such You can dig ponds, fill em in etc.. but thats about as advanced as it gets.

Yeah, that's what I did. Everything was built so randomly in the first place it was a mess so I just took everything back to short grass and have built up from there trying to keep it fairly organised. So I have water/long glass filling up one end, a corner for trees, a little park, a little vegetable garden and lots of open space.

Much easier to work now... I can actually get to work on some romancing.

Apparently it doesn't, the game is region free but the bonus disc isn't.

The bonus disc is a waste of time imho. You get a demo of Lego Star Wars 2, a few XBLA demos, and the first two episodes of the TV show that are on the Marketplace anyway. Bit of a waste. Well, thats the PAL release, are there more bits on the NTSC version?

Put quite a long time into this game. I loved building my garden and then again after it was increased in size, but then got a bit disenchanted with the core game dynamics:

- Have correct variables for animals to become resident
- Grow required plants
- Look after plants
- Feed plant to required animals
- Make animal houses
- Romance animals
- Heal sick animals
- Fence animals that fight
- Scare away nasty animals....

It's a good game, but I find the number of different things to do at the same time bewildering, and I feel the garden is a bit too samey. I feel it's missing an extra spark to keep me interested. I wish there was more building and garden creating, but its all about the pinatas....

I can see why folk like it, but I think I'll give up now. It was a fun game for Christmas as the 4 of us played together and made our own "Hage" (Norsk for Garden...) but I just couldn't keep up with all the required objectives. I's stoopid see.

Well I've just about got all I can out of this now. The only achievement I need is the one for 50 hours of play, and the only way I'll do that is if I leave the 360 on with a wired pad plugged in, so I don't think I'll bother

I think it's a fantastic game, and I really hope there's a Viva Pinata 2 with various extras and improvments. One thing I think would be fun would be the ability to visit the gardens of people on your friends list and have a walk around. Off the top of my head I can't think what else they could add beyond more pinata, different kinds of buildings, more crossbreeding, etc., but that's why they're game designers and I'm not

I'm having a bit of a problem with a glitchy pinata.... Since day one I've had a snail asleep in my garden, I think it's asleep, it has voodoo masks rising from it, and it never moves or wakes up, I can't call the doctor out for it, is it gonna be there forever?!?!

Oh yeah, another thing, the game started in Norwegian (Its PAL uk) and gave no option to change to English.

I had to drop to dash and pretend I lived in the United Kingdom!
