I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who enjoys hurting them/

I tend to pick on the weak and sickly, who I pummel to death with a shovel and let my other beasties nibble upon the Paper flavoured Soylent Green.

Things are getting a little less crazy in Eville Gardens, I think the problem to the fighting has been solved by building houses for the Pinata and telling them to live in them. Things seem a little calmer, which leave me with more time to do the things I'm meant to be doing

With the current wave of quality titles that have just hit my 360, I'm finding this one great to wind down from nerve rattling experiences like the great GoW and CoD3 with the occassional PES6 match.

I can see this starting to get that "gotta get them all" syndrome. Got me first Fudgehog earlier, next on the agenda will be trying to keep that fox-like one. He needs milk to be enticed tho

It's not a killer app or anything, but it's definately something solid and different to turn to when you wanna wind down or just chill out. New Gamespot review lays the VP cards on the table pretty well.

I feel quite disturbed going straight from GoW to Pinata. Its odd

I had a quick go on this tonight and it looks very nice. Visuals are indeed fantastic and by a massive amount the best Rare have produced in years. Super polished too and the soundtrack is wonderful. It reeks of high production values throughout every part of the game.

I haven't got too far yet but it seems to be pretty much Harvest Moon without the main character...? I guess I need to play more.

Its a weird amalgamation of Animal Crossing Directionlessness and The Sims care for your thingees. Its kind of addictive though

Heh. The 360 needs more chillout games. I take it this is more in the vein of something like Oblivion (not a genre comparison) in that you're not up against a clock and you're free to do what you want in the time you want?

Ive certainly not been rushed yet, and im pottering around.

One dissapointment is a maximum number of pinata allowed in the garden.

I had to cull all of my whirlms. It was a veritable pinata bloodbath >_<

Cheers. Just checking - for some reason I thought it might be like the first Pikmin. Great idea and vibe spoiled by the need to rush.

This turned up in the post this morning, really love it so far but there are a couple of annoying glitches it seems, although I'm worried that it might just be my 360! The game has frozen a couple of times and every now and then things seem to vanish. One of those fox like pinatas is resident in my garden (I forget the proper name) but it's invisible!

Has anybody else had anything like this happen or is it a sign that I might have an ill 360 on my hands?

I reckon it probably is my 360, I got a couple of freezes in COD3 the other day as well. Gonna start a new save game and see if that makes any difference. Cheers!

Is that the secret then, I'm just trying to get a few master romancer badges. I'm still not quite sure what it is that causes the experience to increase

I dunno where I'm going with all this, but a bit more money would help as them pinata homes can be expensive. I found growing a shed load of chillis (make sure you have a waterer helper), fertilize with red fertilizer helps I think, then sell them at 100 chocky coins each.
