Well after your hearty recommendations I have ordered this from play for 30 squid. Purely for the relaxation of course.

Just bought this off ebay for 22 quids. There are a few for around that price. So, anyone still dabble in this or has the novelty worn off?

I played it for a couple of hours and traded it in, great intro, but gameplay was very shallow. Never been a big DOA fan myself, so prehaps I'm missing something?

I saw footage of the Jet Skiiing and it looked fun. Almost Waveracerish. I figured that would be nice to play over Live.

Yeah, the jetski and the volleyball are the only decent minigames. I usually do the jetskis though since you earn more money.

I'll return to this when I've nothing better to play.

Those two mini-games are quite good to play online, but that's about it really. It wouldn't be quite so bad if you could whore some achievement points out of it but even that's far too much effort.

Well..... I picked this up just out of curiosity really, I was gonna wait till I saw it for £20 or something, but what they hey....

It's FUN!... The music is suitably awful.... What better music to have to a beach holiday game than cheesy 90s ragga and R&B, great stuff

The waterslide game is really difficult, I didn't make it past the first bend once! (It is kinda funny to see them go flying off the edge). Can't see me playing it months from now, but it's a pleasant enough distraction until Wario Ware Smooth Moves comes out in a couple of weeks or so.

I only played it for a shortwhile, but my biggest criticism is the unfulfilled potential of the game format....... I'd love to see it realised fully as an inhabitable world, where you actually control your character all the time, walk around the resort, when it gets dark, walk back to the hotel and check in in the lobby, have a meal in the restaurant, or get a cocktail with your new friend, or hit the casino, or a ball, or a club together looking for boys/girls to flirt with or show off your new dress.... go exploring on the island basically.

It's a great idea with lots of potential, but the lack of any real immersion in the atmosphere really does make it seem like it was actually just made as wank-fodder for 13 year olds, unfortunately.

The annoying this is that yes it could have been a cracking game if more mini-games etc had been included.

4 of us gaming up mine last Friday - "Let's play some 4 player volleyball" was the cry - awesome, we have 4 360 pads let's do that.

Now - who the **** thought it was clever to remove the option to play multiplayer offline games of volleyball leaving it as a 2 player VS online only proposition ?

****ing idiots - this was one of the things that kept the 1st one on my playlist so long - At first I thought I was missing something then realised on the back of the box it's SINGLE PLAYER OFFLINE ONLY and 1-4 PLAYER ONLINE !

Joke - then I realised we could play it on xbox1 if we'd had the pads and there would be very marginal difference.

Kinda pissed me off that has - to the extent this might get binned sooner than expected.

I thought the original the the XBOX was great, it was a different experience from all the other games out there at the time. Graphics where amazing and the girls looked good. It had a relaxing atmosphere and if you are into collecting type game is was pretty neat.

I bought this new one, and thought it was pretty naff. Graphics no longer blow you away, the breast physics are so stupid its unreal. I also think the volleyball isnt as good in this version.

The volleyball is more or less the same - that's what's wrong with this though it's more of the same - exactly more of the same. resolution aside you'd be hard pushed to spot the differences here.

4 player online volleyball would have been nice and they could have at LEAST left offline 4 player in there but the fact I've seen everything already (bar costumes & gifts) and it's no different mean it's very near the ejection end of the pile just now......

I got the first game and really wanted to enjoy it but found it completley without any depth. I guess if you can get into collecting things its ok, I watched some of the pole dancing videos on youtube last night.
It was entertaining for about a minute.

What I want is for Team Ninja to show some screens for NG2.
That will be their greatest game this gen.
