Just re-reading this thread and count me in as another who got eye strain. I always thought it was just me but after playing 2 or 3 half hour levels in a row my eyes were melted!
      Great game though

I don't get eyestrain but i get a bad dose of motion sickness after playing this for extended periods! Not since my first play of Super Mario Kart on the Snes has this happened. I'm sure my brain will re-wire and I'll get used to it...

          You're all freaks of nature.

I finished the story mode on this the other day and I'm now trying to unlock some of the toys. I've already got the permanent radar, which might help me a little

Wow! I was thinking about Baying my Wii as I haven't really played it all that much - mainly been on the 360. But as I was boxing it up I just could'nt part with it. I think it's knowing that were gonna get games like this that makes me always want to have a Wii (ahem..). Besides the wife has played more Wii sports in the last few months than PS2, Xbox 1, PSP and 360 all together over the years which has meant a gaming friendly partner (ball bust free gaming is bliss) .

Well, after reading this thread I've just ordered Elebits from Gamesplus.ca. Hope it kicks.

              It does indeed "kick"

How are people finding challenge mode btw? It's causing me some major problems. I think I've got five or six challenges unlocked, but completing them is proving to be difficult. I think I might give it a rest and try to track down the rest of the rare/special items first.

I've got most of the challanges done but they are VERY hard. Some are really easy and can be done on the 1st try. Addictive and rewarding though

I guess part of the appeal of the challenge mode is it's quick hit gaming. All of the challenges I have played so far have been really short and sharp. I still can't do the one with the row of taps in the shed. I always seem to run out of time just before I meet quota . It's really cool that they've managed to get so much variety into the challenges, impressive considering the relatively simple building blocks that make up the game .

THAT is the exact same one I'm having trouble on. Seems soooo easy but I just can't squeeze in any more!

It's especially tricky, my tactic is to turn all the taps on first and then let rip with the homing laser. I'm thinking now that this could be the wrong way of doing it. Maybe if I stood back, activated the laser and then turned the taps I could grab them as they come out?

Problem is when the laser is armed it doesn't alow you to grab objects if you have an active lock on. This increases the time between each tap twist. There might be just enough time to get them all turned on I guess. Needs further experimentation

Had a brief go on this at the weekend. What. A. Game.

I'm there. Totally chucking things around the room as it it were with my own hands. And then delicately placing the CD in the shredder.

                          Most impressive.

Could be the Katamari of the Wii

Got the (gasp!) PAL version today.

Yes, it is a very good game indeed, and I'm certainly enjoying it so far. To my mind, it's the Wii's Katamari, which is a very good thing indeed as Namco seem doggedly determined to avoid making a Katamari game for the console to which it would be best suited.

It's also one of the first of many games to come that will separate the Wii from other platforms by virtue of the fact that the game couldn't be done on the other machines.

Slinging furniture and smashing small household objects with the remote is incredibly satisfying indeed. The game also appears to have more depth than I originally anticipated as well. Which again, is a good thing indeed.

Just had my first half hour on this. Utterly brilliant.

It defo has that Katamari feel thanks to the whole charging-up mechanic. Visually it reminds me of Toy Commander and Clockwork night...strangely. Its control is PERFECT too, I like that opening stuff requires subtle movement, it contrasts nicely with wrecking the joint

Anyway...awesome stuff, faith in the Wii totally restored.
