I just turned the accelerator speed up in the options to make you turn quicker. Give it a go.

Didn't see that! On mission 3 now. Mission 2 was excellent and a lot longer than I thought it would be!

Sometimes the beginnings of the missions seem a little aimless, kinda like "Umm...what do I do now?"

Visually this game is SUCH a treat though, having mech wars and the smoke is just everywhere.

one of them? I got wasted loads of times by that bugger.
The final Boss caused me some problems too since the gameplay was totally different. Overall though, I'd say it's the right kind of frustration you endure - You don't get put off, you just become determined to win with the next attempt.

Final boss was probably the most frustrating. The thought of tackling him on Extreme makes me do a poo.

was okay beacause you can tell where you have to hit it, but final boss was just a bit puzzling at times.

Only on the 2nd level and loving it so far, has a old school shooter feel to it. I think the graphics are stunning you many way better than GoW. They just seem to be so detailed and sharp, but they tearing is pretty bad.

Online is a blast, I can see me playing the online game the most.

Kubrick - Did you ever manage to defeat the first Akrid boss on Extreme? I came sooo close on one of many many attempts. Gave up and continued on Hard in the end. I WILL do it tonight, if it kills me, lord I'll do it tonight!

No, same here. Tried again and again for over an hour and came close just the once. Had the tail glowing bright red as if another hit would've finished it off but I ran out of thermal energy!

Still loving this game, I'm on Mission 4 now. This is definitely a contender for GOTY 2007 and it's only January!

I'm also on mission 4... mission 3 was intense! I personally think this is way better than GoW. It's not-stop action.

Yeah, a little tricky for me too at first.

I managed to anchor hook on to a snowy ledge above just as the moving platform stops. Took several dodgy attempts mind.

Stuck on mission 1 - not a good sign me thinks.

Just got in the first Mech, but my heat meter decreases way too quickly and there are no other enemies apart from "Green Eye" who I don't seem to be able to kill.

Everyone loving this I see. Nice. My kind of gun game.

Need to get my grandad on the phone pronto to lend me ?100 for this and Wario.

[Concept]

Sluggish controls but a satisfying shooter with superb set-piece elements so far.

I'm only two missions in but it has a terrible story - think Resident Evil 4's cheesiness without the tongue-in-cheek self-awareness.

Having said that, positive and flaws, this is Capcom alright.
