It does seem like a very weird decision to not include it in from the start but it looks like they have listened to complaints on its transition to japan & have added what they should have in the first place.

I seem to remember an interview with one of the team, they didn't even know what the Classic Controller was!

The reason, as far as i'm aware, was that at the time no third party developers could code classic controller support into any of their games.

Well finally got this today, mmm rather fun indeed. Glad to see that the controls in the jpn version were fully customizable, using the classic pad feels very natural.

Only had a go on 1 & X at the moment but they look pretty good, the loading times are a bit of a pain but not too bad. Pretty glad i picked it up as its a very fun compilation.

Japan finally has to wait for a game

The end is in sight, but we're still waiting for Metroid and Battallion Wars on Wii as well. Japanese 360 owners are treating as badly as Pal gamers have ever been for 360 games and downloads.
