Yes, if you let him get to all of his Jedi, he is a much tougher opponent. Take them out, and he falls fast.

I used my last Advanced Medpack right before I hit my killing blow, and beleve me, it was barely enough to keep me alive. Then again, I'd done that after he'd sucked dry EVERY Jedi he had in stasis, so that's like fighting him 6 or so times in a row. I don't feel bad about what it took to survive it. Had I been able to disable those Jedi, he would have fallen MUCH faster.

Thats what I loved so much about this game - it actually made you think about things like that. Fantastic. To me a great example of how an interactive story can improve, or at least offer a new alternative to, books and films.

Well, see you're supposed to be able to wear the Sand People outfit, but that didn't work for me at all, so I just pulled out my saber and just beat the living **** out of them all for their efforts. It wasn't easy, and the Chieften was a right BIOTCH, but I got him, and when I was finally done fisting his corpse, I felt better.

OF COURSE ! I been playing it so sporadicaly I'd forgotten aboput those outfits. With the smash method - I tried to fight the turrets but could only do 2 or 3 damage per hit. Got whooped so easily.

Cool, I'ill try the outfits later

Also - the 3rd tier pod race - is that possible ??? Got to within .09 of the time but really can't get it !!!

I've found that ion grenades work wonders on turrets.

As for the Swoop race, I was able to finish the Tatooine one (tier three WAS hard!!), but the one on Manaan I had to forget about. I like my sanity too much.

Ion Grenades also work well on droids and shielded opponents.

my trouble is that I rely too much on my sabers and long range shooter....must look more into the grenades and stuff. I should have more knowledge of this kinda thing being a SW fan and all

See, that's the thing. You HAVE to utilize all your resources if you want to survive. Sure, would you really expect to see a Jedi throwing a grenade? Probably not, but then again, I don't remember seeing any Jedi in the books or movies or other games going up against the ****storm worth of enemies you do in KOTOR, eSPECIALLY on the Star Forge. Christ on a pogo stick, who knew there WERE that many Sith in existance?!

Use it or lose it, that's what I say.

What do you mean by that? I thought its a religion and everyone that pledges their loyalty to the sith automatically become one?

I could be very wrong here, but I assume weightgain's referring to an element of The Phantom Menace, where the Jedi point out that with present-day Sith they always come in pairs: master and apprentice. Knights of the Old Republic deals with, in essence, a very different kind of Sith - are rather more plentiful kind
