I'm meant to be reviewing Kirby and Dino Crisis 3, yet KoTOR is far too playable.

It's also the reason I haven't bought FZero. Damn you Bioware.

But I don't want it to end

I can't really afford to put that much time into it, or it'll never get completed!
bloody hell it took me over 20 hrs just to get off Taris , mind you i'm bloody minded, and explore everything, try and do everything, and spend quite a bitta time in the menu screens, tinkering with weapons and armour, swapping items between the different characters in the party etc. I dont think the gaming clock stops counting when in the menu screens, but am not 100% sure of this.
      Pazaak also eats up time.
I think i'm gonna have to start selling some items, i have so much stuff i'm not equipping/using, especially armour of various kinds.

It seems a pretty good combination, - got lots of crystals for the light sabres in dantooine too

      question for yas....

That said, there are some robes out there which are more powerful than the average, they're not necessarily easy to find but well worth seeking out.

I'll take a pic over the weekend of mine. You won't see the veins sticking out on his face though, sadly. They look cool ^_^

It's a trade-off: you'll never be as protected as when using proper armour, but you get to use very powerful and effective force powers as a bonus. Plus, you look cooler in a proper robe.
One another subject, whenever Bastila pisses me off in conversation, I make her run around in her undies for a while as punishment. Heh heh.

No, not there. You meet him again later one, and THEN you can collect his kit.

I've gone off armor completely for all three of my Jedi, and I haven't noticed a marked increase in getting hit. Then again, I deal out death so fast that they rarely get a chance to hit me anyway.

Not that I come here often, but just wanted to add my two cents. Started playing this at midnight last night. And switched off my XBox at 10am this morning. I've not done anything like that since being a student, many years ago.

              Bloody marvellous.

Have to agree there - the armor doesn't seem to make much difference at all - the shields are far more effective as a defence mechanism, as is the jedi weapon

I'm at the Star Forge now, and I've been turning to the dark side after having played towards the light.

                    Regards

I finally reached 30 hours today, and finished up Manaan. Not too hard, really. Before I left to come to work I landed on Kasheekk (sp?), and I'll start my search tomorrow, and then it's off to Korriban.

Does it just keep getting better and better or what?

I needed to take a break after just getting off Dantooine now! Was Tatooine the right (easiest) place to go first? Whatever, it's where I am now.

More tomorrow I think. It's going to take me forever to complete this damn game and this could quite possibly be the first RPG I ever finish! Which is a little exciting. For me anyway.

Well, it depends on who you ask. I know some folks who went to other planets first, and when they got to Tatooine they said it was hard. I went their first, and while I had a couple of tough fights, it wasn't anything THAT difficult. My feeling is that the game tailors the difficulty to your group level. No matter where you go, the toughness of the enemies you fight is determined by how tough you are. But, that's just my own speculation, so don't quote me or anything.

I love being a lawyer/detective, bending the truth using the force is so much fun! 43 hours in, got all 4 star maps but im stranded on some Planet.

                            Its 5am, back to KOTOR!

                              Annoyed now ft:

I just finished the second planet after Dantoonie, but since it was late last night I stopped and saved when on the Ebon Hawk. So I saved.

This morning I decided to load it up just because there was something I needed to tie up, only to discover my guy was trapped behind Carth with no way of getting out. Grr. Means that save is b0rked

Thankfully I have an autosave an hour or so back, but just be warned where you save.

The hardest thing I found about Tatooine was dealing with the Sand People Chieftain, but it's perfectly possible to do it straight from Dantooine, just perhaps a little trickier than if you've had some extra experience elsewhere.
