[Treble]

The peaks and troughs in this game are what makes it - it's much ore like 'real' life, the way you converse and fight. This makes levelling-up a more realistic experience.

When you finally get your Lightsaber, your skill set and party balance is so much more rounded and enjoyable. The feeling you get from wielding a self-improved 'saber is awwwwwwwesome...

When can we expect the review, Grimblade/Privateer?! Me needs a review!

I'd like to toss another thank you to BioWare. I've been loving KOTOR so much that it pains me when I can't play it (the wife loves the game too, so I can only play it when she's home and with me - yes, I'm a bitch, but I admit it frrely), and so it's driven me back to picking up Icewind Dale 2 again, a game I'd left in the middle of several months back. I didn't stop playing it because it was bad, but because I'd just overdosed on BioWare games and couldn't play another second. Ya know, sometimes you need some distance. Anyway, since I can't get my fix with KOTOR whenever I need it, I've picked IWD2 again, and I'm so glad I did. I forgot how much fun it is. It wasn't developed by BioWare itself, but the engine is their's, as are the the rulesets and a lot of the graphics, so it might as well be. Now I'm about one chapter away from finishing it, but I'll try to drag out the game until I can finish KOTOR. After we're done, I can play it by myself, which I'll do, but this time as a dark-side chick.

I'm on Kashyyk now.

Not only is 'my path towards the dark side [nearly] complete', but I have a red, powered-up saber and a dark Jedi robe. I wear the gas mask on top of this to complete the effect - I look a lot like a classier version of Shadow[?] from Mortal Combat (but without the tights on my head).

The hardest dark task so far: getting Shen and his girlfriend killed, and then their parents as well, in that Romeo and Juliet-style sub-plot on Dantooine. That was nasssty.

i've just finished Dantooine, but am reluctant to leave, there are some seriously expensive items for sale here and my credits are pretty low atm, around 1500.
I think i'll get my pazaak head on tonight and try and win some cash to buy a couple of the expensive goodies.....

I can't really afford to put that much time into it, or it'll never get completed!

There are some nice things on Dantoonie which I did miss, though I'm sure I shall return one day. I got a nice visor there, gives me a big hacking\secuity boost.

I've put that one on Mission, iirc. I have never played Paazak, so am constantly around the three grand mark for credits

I can't be arsed doing the research, so answer a question for me ():

Sometimes, Bastila seems to use Force powers even when not commanded. They don't even seem to take a lot off the Jedi bar either (not as much as when I specifically select them, anyway). Am I going mad?

No. So long as her script is set to Jedi, then she'll use them. Not the big ones, but she will occasionally use Cure and Stun and such.

30 hours in now, finished my 2nd planet (Korriban) which was ****ing amazing. Lovin every second of it, dont want it to end

I am now into the Star Forge area after finding all the star maps after about 28 hours of gameplay.

I'm dividing my time between this (15hrs on the clock) and R Type Final (6hrs on the clock). So hard when you have two games at the same time that are both un-put-down-able
