The 3rd tier is pretty easy to reach on the Tatooine Swoop races, I found.

I didn't have a chance to race on Manaan.

I had a little trouble with the law...

Actually, I believe the Sith adage about only being two that was talked about in The Phantom Menace develops after all this. KOTOR details some of the Sith and Jedi conflict, but not all of it, and more is to come. Ultimately there is a final conflict that leaves only one Sith Lord left standing, Darth Bane, and he is the one to institute that policy of only two Sith at a time, but that happens a bit after all this, I believe.

I also found a building with electricity all around, which kills my entire party if I go near it.

See, the way I did it is, I took their mission and headed toward the Eldar's encampment in the building surrounded by lightning. When I got there, a holographic image appeared that opened the way into the building. Once in there, the Eldars asked me to free one of their people from the other alien camp. When you get there, they know you didn't do it, and so attack you. You have to fight through all of them until you get to the center of their camp, where you pull a lever and release the captive Eldar. He then heads back to the Eldars on his own, and when you get back there they give you their help in getting into the Temple.

Not sure what you're going to do now, but that is how it happened in my game.

Can I just ask, did you guys actually use mines at any point? I've got buckets of em now but have never found a practical use for em.

I've used them a few times, but never to any real advantage. I can usually cope fine with just the saber, yesterday I managed 120 damage in one attack.

                  Eat it.

                  Dominator Gloves - mmmm

The bast takes me down far too quickly. Even my previously flawless tactic of Master Speed\ Flurry doesn't work as he can dodge every attack.

I managed to get Bastilla to help me without any real problems, but I didn't take her with me into the final area.

I do like my new Forge suit though.
Can't believe it is almost over

Also, pump yourself up with Strength, Speed, Stamina and...the other one Dexterity helps a load in Saber battles, so try and boost that any way you can. Also, if things get too tough, run off. Seriously, after a while of running, it cuts out of battle and you can use items without having to wait turns, helped me loads.

And finally, does anyone else really love the music in the battle with Malak? I love it

Pete, follow Rag's advice. Make sure you have plenty of stims and medpacks, and when it gets bad, run far far away to bulk and heal up.

If you have Destroy Droid, you can use that on the Jedi in stasis.

Other than that, all I can say is good luck!

BG2 has taught me to take my time and stick my nose in everywhere.

50 hours and still going strong

(Minus the odd hour here or there where I just let it hang in the middle of a conversation and did something else for a bit...but still! I'm showing quality slow, obsessive compulsive mad skilz here, honed over many...blahaaa etc)
