    only bug i encountered was

after i`d done the 2 water towers and you have to take out 2 choppers. the first time it had`nt registered that i`d taken out the 2nd copter and i had to reload the checkpoint

bar that, its been glitch free for me, although i did have 1 or 2 during the first game.

I've only encountered one lock-up so far,

which was right at the end when I went underneath the arch next to the building that housed the Nuke.

        New xbox360= No SP lockups.

**but** The multiplayer locked up once, and I was having issues inviting people.

one evening online works perfect, the other it's a total mess and i even can't get friends into my game!

playing the campaign on the "one hit means death" difficulty now and, most of the time, it's still a walk in the park for me. most of all i still haven't seen a single flanking maneuver of the enemies yet, they just keep hiding behind cover and even don't seem to have a much better aim. on top, and for my liking, the cannon fodder is a little too sparse in numbers.

            Finished the first day and

the bit in the graveyard was fantastic, I ran out of bullets about half way in and had to go hand gun for the rest - taking cover behind gravestones is always ace.

Not been flanked at all yet and its been pretty easy going so far which suits me

If you use the support functions that you have and the fact that Mitchell is possibly the most deady Soldier on the planet then the game does feel like a bit of a breeze, even on Elevated Risk.

Doesn't take anything away from it though as it is pure magical gaming from start to finish... every set piece, every, map, every weapon, its all knitted together so perfectly. The whole experience feels like one of the most solid SP modes I have played on the 360 to date and I cant fault any part of it.

Oh... and calling in and air strike and actually seeing the Fighter Jet fly by as it unloads its payload is ****en beautiful... god bless developers when they pay attention to the little details!!

Finished the SP this afternoon and I reckon it took about 4 1/2 hours, maybe 5 tops. Shortest shooter I've played... probably ever. Fun while it lasted, but I can certainly see how the managed to force it out after just a year of dev time.

I'll start on the online stuff next, but it did strike me how I'm still enjoying Oblivion and have approaching 100 hours on the clock and yet it cost the same as the 5 hours of fun GRAW 2 gave me.

Finished the single player campaign on middle difficulty last night and the whole run through took me around 8/9 hours. I was surprised to make it through the game tbh as I was stuck early on with the first game for ages (and I pretty much suck at these games), but this one flows very nicely indeed. There were only a few instances where I was actually involved in the action directly, chosing to orchestrate the combat from way back in the area hidden behind a wall. Flicking between the Ghosts, a tank and helicopter as you slowly gain ground is just incredible well handled. Only thing I found annoying was the voices shouting "I can't make that shot captain" followed by the target getting destroyed - but I guess that's just a bug. Also when you have sent your team miles ahead and then run full pelt to their position through the now empty warzone you can hear your team saying things like "don't leave us behind, wait for us Captain" which is a bit jarring. Basically overall it didn't have that feeling of 'reality' that the first game gave me and the fear of getting shot (maybe I need to play through on the hard setting to get that back?)

Favourite set piece has to be being pinned down by the

two tanks then controlling the helicopter to take them out.

Played that bit through a couple of times directing the actions and refining the scene until it looked just amazing

Now, I have a question about the ending.

After getting to the roof and seeing the nukes, I was attacked by a helicopter and legged it away back into the warehouse for cover. From there I could fire off at it from safe distance until it went away. I then ran back to the roof and could see the outline of the Nukes through the floor, targeted them and called the airstrike. It all went white, I was told that I could go home and the credits rolled.

Is that really the ending or did I **** something up?

Biggest bug I encountered was the Mule not moving and even floating around at one point, no lock ups though. Niggles aside its great game while it lasts, now bring on the online fun!

Quick question : How similar is the multiplayer in GRAW2 to GRAW? For example, some of us played GRAW last night to finally get the co-op achievements but it is simply ridiculously hard. One hit and your out and have to wait for up to 10 minutes.

Further to that, if you change it so you have respawns (even if its 10 shared) you can't get the achievements. Coupled with no cover and it pissed me (and the rest of the team playing) off.

Is it still like this in GRAW2 ?

The realities of war, eh? If you fancy going for the achievements I'll be up for some GRAWing today.

Yes that is the ending and is the now familiar Ubisoft 'a sequel is coming' type of affair.

Really? I got the feeling that I was going to be

sent home in an air ambulance to spend the rest of my days like that dude in the Metalica 'One' video.

I can see the next game now - Ghost Recon Advanced Wheelchair Fighter.

                              I don't think it's meant to be that - just that he's

totally disorientated from being so close to the blast. Wasn't it an EMP blast in the end anyway? If it was, he most likely got massive feedback through the cross com which knocked him flat.

Yeah but its a game and I don't enjoy games that are that hard, there is no difficulty level to it whatsoever, no respawns : ONE hit and you are out for 10 mins watching.

I sold my copy today anyway, posting it out tomorrow!
