It's awrite - I too like the arcadey fast paced nature of it and the controls once you're used to them are nice.

But it's an ugly bastard - very ugly.

Yeah, it is ironic that they added self-shadowing, more complex planes and enchanced color palette to Wii version. I truly wonder how bad PS2 version looks.

I don't have a problem with the graphics. I'm not saying they're good, but they're not what I'd call bad either. Either way, it's a Wii issue that won't go away until developers get used to the machine and/or stop being lazy. It's as though developers have taken the fact that the Wii isn't quite as graphically competent as the other machines as an excuse not to bother making an effort at all.

Getting back to the game though, if there's one thing I don't like about this it's the generic rawk. Bad, one-chord chug-rock should be banned. Especialyl from game soundtracks. It's so... obvious.

Gave this a quick blast last night - I thought you guys were being a bit harsh on the visuals until I started playing it. Air Force Delta on the Dreamcast looks better than this. A real shame.

Control-wise, things are better, but it's painfully obvious that this is a PS2 release with wiimote functionality tacked on.

Ace Combat does this kind of game so much better, hopefully Namco will give us a Wii version?

I've just got the US version...anyone playing this on a LCD through component? The moment I popped the game in I entered a world of blurriness...not even composite was so disappointing. I tried playing Zelda, Red Steel, Pangya and Elebits but none was so blurry...and Pangya is 480i, just like Heatseeker. Even the Wii menu brought up by home is aliased...it's just me or what?
