Not played GH before so I'm settling in on "Medium" like a big jessie.

Just played the first location - gotta say that this seems to screw with your eyes more than the PS2 version. Or maybe that just cos it's in higher res on a bigger tv... my timing is a bit out too, yet the calibration says 0ms. More practice needed....

It's a bit of a pain to quit out to see the scores - would have been nicer to see what your relative performance is as you go along.

A little hint for people not being able to pause without messing up, just hit the guide button as it'll pause it and press the guide again and you'll still be in the pause menu.

I'm gonna have to go over the first few songs again later cause I'm a little out of practice.

And if definately messes your eyes up more in HD, or seems to anyway.

The GH area of MP was empty when I checked yesterday - was hoping something might be up tonight but not sounding good now - hopefully we'll get the dozen tracks tomorrow !

They've already said DLC is coming in the next week or so, and it'll be songs from GH, including Bark At The Moon.

So I've played a few gigs...easy is a little too easy once you get into the swing, normal is pretty good, not tried hard and extreme is...well, it's extreme.

The irony of the game is that some of the stuff is about 100 times harder than if you were to play it on a real guitar!!

Great game, very addictive.

One complain : The location of the start, back and guide buttons...I find it pretty much impossible to pause the game using either the start or guide button without missing notes...

Glad its not just me then, the thing screwed with my eyes after 20 minutes or so of playing.

Also, I think I'm struggling as I used to play the bass so I'm naturally trying to keep time with the bass drum instead of just following the notes on screen and the riff patterns.

Aye my eyes get screwed up too once I've finished a song.

The only thin I've noticed is that when you finish a song and the menu pops up (in practice mode) it looks like it's rising, it's purely down to how hard you are concentrating really, it's just a trick of the eyes.

Superb superb game but it's absolutely criminal there is no online play at all...an absolute crime

Hmmm, I'm getting slowdown playing Jessica. Saw it also a bit on John the Fisherman. Nothing earth-shattering, but it's noticeable.

Anybody else seen that?
