Super Paper Mario (US)

Ive got to about the 1/2 way mark, but dont think I can summon the time to see the rest of this though, not because I dont want to - but with so many good titles out now/coming out its the game at the bottom of my pile. Why? I love the art style, I love the dumbed down platforming because I spend most of the time enjoying the 2d visuals but sadly when it goes into "3d" the game just looses some charm with the world devoid of life.

I like this game, its worth the cash - but vs the other games released over the next 4 weeks, it cant compete. I will complete it this year though hopefully ^^

It's feeling like a bit of a chore, now I must admit. I want to finish it, but it's all gotten very boring and charmless. I will finish it before xmas day when I sit down to Mario Galaxy and pretend I'm 20 years younger.

Gone back to RE4 too, and am just about to finish that. The summer just flooded me with 360 games, and I'm only just going back to the Wii and finishing stuff.

Still haven't got more than a C++ for Big Brain Academy, despite a near 1200 score.

Since i've been exploring the deep blue with Endless Ocean and giggling like a little kid with Galaxy - not to mention all the other games that have suddenly just appeared - i must admit Paper Mario has been quietly placed aside.

I really enjoyed its humour, its beautiful style and sometimes frustrating puzzles but ultimately, i feel it acted as a pleasant distraction until the key titles arrived.

Like others have said, considering all the other amazing titles at the moment, poor little paper mario doesnt quite hold its own. Now it is an enjoyable game to delve into here and there...
