Had some AMAZING games last night with you guys...people like DataDave and EvilBoris.....BTB is something else! I saved at least 3 films of sheer comedy gold....pinging off the man cannon with the missile pod, straight into the middle of mid-field vehicle carnage

This very well could be the best multi-player shooter I've played and the Full release will be MORE than worth the money for it alone....potential quality of Single-player is still up in the air imo...but the INCREDIBLE MP is a REALLY good sign.

Hopefully the MP doesnt get ****ed for final release.

Just had a quick go in matchmaking. First ever Halo3 game. Once it had identified the players, guess what the first thing that happened was? Yes, some American kid starts singing.

Looked a lot like Halo2 to me. I wondering if this is going to have quite the same impact at all. Halo2 had online play to propell it to greatness. Halo3 has? The same thing everything else has these days. But still, it's Halo, so plays really well. I didn't come last either (3rd).

Well, as my first 360 Elite has yet to surface (friend-of-a-friend, doesn't help the delays), I've gone ahead and ordered a SECOND one from VG+. Pain in the backside, but at least this means I'll be able to play the Halo 3 beta (and all the other games I have lined up).

Look forward to getting pummeled by fellow NTSC-UK'rs online.

Had some decent games with you lot online tonight. The 1 Flag CTF near the end was brilliant. First game on defence we lose disgracefully with no excuse, then when we had to attack on the second round, we upped our game, made more of a team effort and got the point. I followed dave with the flag I think the whole way killing off anyone who stood in our way, then he got taken out along with loads of others, I stepped in and jumped the short distance to glory to score the point.

A good defence of the flag on the next round worked out well so they didnt score with it at all and then the final round after much commotion, and plenty of dead bodies everywhere, Joe dropped the flag mere inches from the base after a stray Mongoose made it through our defences to cause some mayhem in the dying seconds but I just had to step in and easily claim the point again to win the match!

Made my MVP but far from it really!

Another highlight was me and nige going on a killing spree in the Warthog with him driving, that was a good start to the round.

Ah I love this game, and they still have a good few months to improve it!!
