      Just got mine!

OMG this game is so SICK! It's just TOO gorgeous - love the music, the graphics are beyond belief and it's all presented beautifully. My head was violently blowing up over the character profiles - each character has his/her own theme tune, thats just ILL! (Dr Stewarts is kinda heavy! ) - James McCloud is such a don it's hysterical XD Got PROPER hero music that's just as cheesy as anything Joe would buss!
The interviews are too damn funny too! XD That reporter brer is so SPRANG of that nutcase Pico!

I had to soften the controls tho - it's FAR too sensitive in the default setting, I set it to the limit (feels like the N64 range)

One sec, I'm gonna roll about the floor screaming now.

I'll definately be interested in an SD adapter as I could do with one for my phone. And a bigger card would be nice What sort of prices are we looking at for say a 64MB card?

Given that the freeloader manual says that a jap game will wipe your pal saves on a memcard, any idea how this will effect the sd card saves, can you somehow partition it?

Instead of getting the SD adaptor and card and stuff, just get one of these beauties. A standard memory card with a USB socket to boot.

The USB Memory Adapter is the ultimate Save Game solution for any Game Cube owner. The 64M memory card can hold up to 1019 blocks of save data (which is 16 times more than a standard Memory Card 59 can hold). Furthermore with the supplied USB cable, the memory card can be connected to any PC for save data exchange. You can download your save games on the largest memory card (your PC harddrive), exchange them with friends and much more.

Agreed. This game is bloody awesome!!!!! Cant stop playing it!!! The graphics and playibility are on par with the arcade IMO. I usually play it everyday in the arcades. Overall, you cant really fault this conversion, its exceeded my expectations having played it in the arcades a month before being released on the cube. Just curious, are people using the GC controller or the speed force. The latter is much better IMO, feels more like the arcade.

Got mine this morning from Digimall.

Are there any option menu translations kicking about yet? Do you have to set it to 16:9 in the options somewhere or does it do it automatically?

Also, I'm a total F-Zero novice, any decent guides for the basics? What does the balance bar do just after you pick your ship?

                      Enjoying so far.

You will actually find this very much depends on the craft you have picked.

Compare Twin Noretta to the Death Anchor for example - the Twin Noretta is very sensitive, while the Death Anchor isnt at all until to get to speeds over 1300 kmh.

Try the Black Bull also for an example of a lack of sensitivity. It seems this time Sega have made each car very different indeed, so much so that it is very hard to keep changing craft and keeping a level of consistency.

I still havent managed to get past the third cup, and getting slightly frustrated at it as well. The courses on that cup inparticular all seem very long with not many emorable moments. I was hoping for another Sector Beta or something, but it seems it doesnt quite have that.

I am hoping the track design gets better for the cups I have yet to unlock because track design is the only thing letting the game down in my opinion.

Its in there mate! Go into options, choose the 3rd selection and glorious widescreen is revealed!
