Myself and Supergoal have been discussing the possibilities of being able to transfer the ghosts and other data over email if you used the SD adaptor to save your game on and then read the SD card with a PC.

Apparently this works prefectly with the new version of Doubutsu No Mori so hopefully it should also work with F-Zero data too.

Has anyone else heard anything about this?

I've been zooming around with Twin Norita on the last bar to the end so far, but if you think you go overall faster with it slightly lower I will try that out. Best times for the first two courses are about 2 seconds slower than yours.

Supergoal reckons the SD adaptors are about a tenner in Japan. The USB card readers for the PC last time i looked were around ?15.

I didn't think that a PC would be able to read a GC formatted SD card, but Supergoal says that loads of people are already emailing each other items from Dobutsu No Mori E+

If i can find someone whos willing to risk it also, i'm gonna order one and see if it will work with F-Zero.

Thats the impression I got. I've read that the new jpn Animal Crossing specifically supports swapping items via a pc.

Strange thing is - I placed my bar right at the very end last night at around 97% and then ended up scoring my 2nd best time. I haven't been able to pull it off since for sliding around too much.

The first Green Plant course is a bastard for time attack. Only 2 boosts and the course is too long to prolong your own manual boosts - I can see this one taking a helluva lot of research.

With regards to the SD adaptor - Doesn't the actual adaptor simply convert SD card space into memory card blocks? I'm sure your PC will transport data to and from the card regardless of file type. ???
