Can someone just explain the unlocking system to me? I take it you earn points by winning stuff that you can use to buy new shiznit. Do you get these points in GP mode too?

Yeah, you get points for finishing grand prixs, completing chapters in story mode and beating times in Time Attack. That's what I've got them for so far, anyway.

I'm pretty gutted that there's no Silence track. Is there a really simple, really high speed one to take it's place? Many multiplayer hours depend on it

There is a Silence style track man - Green Plant! There's 2 recharge sections too so you can keep the speed very high!

MISSION 4

I just destroyed all of his henchmen as quickly as possible, then he slows down to your speed - it was easy after that. Gonna try v.hard tonight infact.

Remember that the mission isn't complete until you cross the finish line. The first time I beat him I pressed start to exit and try again because I was so close to the finish line with what seemed to be a no result. The craft counter at the top of the screen (30/30 down to 1/30) helps a little.

Vertical 2P split mode is fantastic on a 16:9 setup - its like a full screen each!

We won't know until one of us completes everything unfortunately - and that includes beating all the staff ghosts. Hopefully it wont come down to that - mind you, it's not too bad with custom craft.

You have to set it in the options.
