I like what I'm reading in this thread - the difficulty needed to be high to keep experienced F-Zeroers interested, and it sounds like AV have kept the feel of the series alive.
Whilst I wait for the US version, could someone fill me in on the details of multiplayer (no. of CPU ships, the cups/courses available, laps available to race, etc.)?
Cheers

I know one is CPU skill. I can't quite remember the layout though.

In multiplayer you can pick any course available AND use custom built vehicles to boot. As we've managed to dissect between us so far, you can alter the number of laps between 1 and something or other (not checked), turn the handicap on/off, have CPU racers fill up the other slots (to a max of 4 total players) and have regen on (presumably if you fly off the track you come back as in practice). The fifth option presumably is whether to split the screen horizontal or vertical in 2 player mode...Lie with passion and be forever damned...

However, when you complete master you get the option of purchasing a sound/music test for 99 race points. I bet you can mess around with those settings in there - now that I love the in-game music and don't want to. Typical.
I do hope the FMV tunes are selectable - as well as the player profile tunes, even though that's not really needed it would be nice.
ANYHOW - Tonights plan of action... (in order)
- Format new mem 59 to jap. region
- Complete AX Cup on master
- Purchase MC: Sonic Oval
- Complete Ruby on master a couple more times (to raise cash)
- Purchase sound test
- Give missions #3 and #4 a good roasting and hopefully purchase 2 new craft. (that will make #1-#5 complete, only 4 left! WOO!)
- Have a do on some Sapphire cup time attack tracks.
