As much as I appreciate the Japanese version is apparently easy enough to play - I think I'd be happier playing EG5 in full English...

trust me, the Japanese version is the one to get, the localised version lose their charm and appeal if you ask me

The menu translations make it even easy to navigate through. A must get for any PS3 owner

Keep them coming mate, hopefully it will make the game less intimidating (and it really is for everybody!) for any people that may be sitting on the fence.
My Japanese is below child level and I get it - each screen has few options and is clearly laid out. I played the first one when I was illiterate and didn't feel I missed out at all.

It came today. I got the Asian version off ebay for ?28 including postage did not get hit with customs either.

Its great and thanks to everyone for the menu translations. This year I have managed to pick up all the Japanese Minna No Golf games for the PSX/2 and PSP(apart from the new ones with the GPS).

Does anyone know if you need to be in Japan to play the new GPS PSP games? Is the GPS bit just a caddy for some courses in Japan and the rest of the game is an actual game.

I recommend importing this for the PS3 and not waiting for a USA/UK version. The awful boxart for the USA versions would put me off for a start. The UK boxart is not as bad for some of the games but when the UK version will turn up is anybodys guess.

In America the series is called Hot Shots Golf. The USA boxart for games is often dire but these are some of the worst. They rival Megaman 1 on the NES.

Them US covers make me cringe At least the PAL version's retain the correct title (Everybody's Golf), however the covers are just as dire

Which Swing system are you guys using/preferring? I'm loving the new system and I'm sticking with it

I have started to use some of the other top tier characters too but Jasmine hits it the furthest for me so far.

Onto the first 18 hole tourney now but am leaving that for tomorrow evening.

I just wish there were Minna No Golf figures available to buy
