X = play ; [] = delete; START = protect from overwriting (for the autosaves I guess)

Dazzyman - you can display all loading screens you have "collected (!)" in the options so you dont need to wait for it. Well you could in all other ones and there is a load screen option in one of my translations.

I think it's Birdies - Eagles - Albatross but am not sure what the green tab is. Also, under the character and course picture on the right is that 'SQUARE to Delete', 'X to Play'. What about START?

The green tab says 'manual'. Not sure what that would refer to.

Manual indicates the saves that you have done by pressing L1 (at least I assume it does)

You can do the pin rising shot with normal top spin, as I managed it last night on the practice range. The super shots are indicated by blue trails and not red ones

Not sure what you mean by pin rising? But yeah 'super back/top-spin' is a blue trail.

Pin rising is when you hit the pin and the ball rises up to the top of the pin and then slams back into the hole

Don't think I've seen that, although it might have done when my brother got an eagle by pitching in the hole. The homing thing I was referring to earlier was when it hit the pin with super back-spin applied, bounced 4 feet or so away and then spun back to the hole, lipped out, spun again and went in. Crazyness, I'd heard it referred to as a homing shot.

On the player select screen when you choose a club or ball there's a smiley or sad face, depending on how it affects the character but I've just noticed the text by the face also changes. Does anyone know what difference it makes? I'll post some pictures soon.

Not even touched the single player yet just been on the practice mode and a couple online tournys where i got whipped so i need more practice but i have to agree with everyone else this game is worth every penny and anyone with a PS3 should not be with out this title as this is GOTY stuff..

tyler, at a guess (still without ), the clubs and balls are good in diff positions eg rough, bunker, rain etc.

Just unlocked Tier 4 and the next course it's getting better and better for me and hopefully the difficulty will start to ramp up soon
