I picked a US copy with the headset.
This game is an absolute riot! I've yet to experience any slowdown and I've been playing this all day!
Spatial - We happened to be playing in the same game on opposing sides.

Just managed to get my first game in. I'm actually pretty underwhelmed at the moment. I didn't really touch the planes, just ran around and drove tanks, which probably explains why. Just need to get past the initial learning curve. It's still fun, but I hope it gets much better.Comment

Apologies for not responding to your message Jebus but I needed a break and Bioshock is calling me this evening.
dragz, stick with it as there's a lot to this game. Not being part of the Beta and not having the retail pack (and didn't bother reading the manual) it kind of throws things at you left right and centre to start and can be a bit overwhelming. Particularly when you feel like everyone else seems to know what their doing (but that's definitely not the case - I've seen some spectacular suicides today ).
Take time to experiment with the Warhawks, on foot, in turrets and tanks etc and find something you're comfortable with to help learn the maps (it doesn't take too long). Some people seem to love to stick to one thing, and that's fine, but it's such a hoot to mix it up in game between the different aspects - in fact it's absolutely necessary in some CTF maps where sticking to just one thing will make it a whole load more difficult for you and your team.
Again, I had tonnes of comedy moment this afternoon.
Between picking hovering Warhawks out of the sky in tanks, turning rapidly approaching (or escaping) jeeps into balls of flaming metal with a tank shell, and the absolute insane carnage of being in the middle of an assault on your base and fending it off against Warhawks, tanks and soldiers, this game is a riot.
And they poor guy who chased me up a sentry tower, not realising I had a healthy supply on mines which I laid around the top of the ladder. Cue him being blown up and ragdolling through the window of the tower and getting jammed halfway through.
Oh so satisfying
How long a shelf life it has with the randoms is anyone's guess though. I can already see the idiots starting to creep in with the team killing in ranked games and people singing down the mic - including one little **** who was the bane of my time on Shadowrun. I know it's him cos he's singing the same song.
But right now I'm really enjoying this.Comment

Bought installed and totally destroyed a bunch of Warhawks I like, super-fast dofighting. Not played any on-foot games yet just dogfights but after trying the different on-foot bits and other vehicles I really couldn't care less; it's just like any other online FPS-style combat game 
But Warhawks? Yes pur-lease. Well worth the £20 for sure. Even the missus thought it was good.Comment

I'm the other way around haha, don't use the warhawks much but I'm growing to like them now I can fly around a bit better, I like being on foot defending base or attacking with a jeep or a tank. cool game, was up till 5:30am chatting with someone and getting fragged hard.Comment

The stats for rankings on this are pretty screwed up.
Yesterday I was getting badges and ribbons like there'd been an explosion in a birthday card shop and I'm still Sargent despite meeting the requirements for the next ranking.
They need to sort this out, stat
edit: actually it might be a combination of meeting the requirements for the medals and getting enough points. Can't seem to find a proper answer anywhere as to how it works
edot2: nope, reading around it seems the ranking system is somewhat broken and not working as it should. Some people have been boosted up to Chief from the start

Sorted this out last night but so far I have only managed to do some local games to work on my piloting skills... and I already know this game is going to sit me just nice.
Pretty sure the Warhawks are gonna be the main atractions for me and cant wait to get caught up in the middle of some huge battles, hopefully tonight

I've put some more time into this now and it's certainly growing on me. I found the planes pretty hard to get to grips with at first, but it just takes time. Taking down other planes with missiles is pretty straightforward.
The main complaint I have at the moment is that it's still so hard to get into a game. Getting a game on a dedicated server has so far proved to be impossible. Hopefully this is something that will be fixed.Comment

I have two PS3s, and I'd like to move Warhawk from PS3 'A' to PS3 'B'. Now according to Sony I have to wait 24 hours before playing the game on PS3 'B' and use the account I bought it with. No problem.
Unfortunately when I try to download it on 'B' I get an installation error even though I haven't touched the game in over 48 hours now.
Both PS3s are activated using my master account. So what's the problem here? Is there actually some documentation on what I'm supposed to do? Should I deactivate PS3 'A'?
Has any one else managed it?Comment
