Tis not too much of a problem as it holds onto like the last 20 games you've played

I'm just browsing through the Bungie stats page, tis incredible the amount of stuff you can see.

No mate not at all lol

            It's just Halo 3 took

the most amazing ending from Halo and increased it ten fold and put it on a HUGE scale escaping from the ring before it blows. If that didn't excite you or get you going then yes i think you're dead inside. It's pretty obvious that Halo isn't your game though, so i except you're opinion. For me at least it was one of the most exciting epic endings to a game i've played for a long time.

I totally agree I got so involved, I was enjoying it as a film ending rather than just enjoying it as finishing the game, totally awesome

                  dude WTF,

did I miss the proper ending I thought he was dead! Actually I think I probably missed most of the plot in the rush to finish the damn thing now I think about it

Can someone playing this in 5.1 do me a favour?

To me, the assault rifle sounds really muted, like much quieter than you'd expect weaponry to sound - and I've had the same thing in Metroid Prime 3 recently too. Can someone tell me if I'm imagining it, or is it just meant to sound really quiet? Cheers.

Sounded really quiet in 5.1 to me too Keith!

I have the same problem with many games and even some films. One of the main reasons I want to get back to a 2.1 setup.

It seems like the audio balance is way off with some things - even after calibrating individual speakers to compensate.

5.1 sounds fine to me if turned up high. At low levels certain sounds seem to drop out more than others. Voices on cut scenes are particularily difficult to hear.

I know but it's not as slick as the beta. It would be a little annoying if you're in a party and the leader keeps changing the lobby to save games. How does the Saved Films work for other people in the lobby?

I came home early to play this today but don't know why I bothered. I've just gotten on to the second stage of the single player campaign and have yet to look at multiplayer, so these are very early impressions, but the game's dreadful.

Graphically it's an awful mess thanks to the low polygon count of the models, poor framerate, crap animation, drab colours, bad lighting and flat, matted textures, on top of that it's so jaggy and scruffy it scarcely looks HD. The sound is also incredibly disappointing thanks to terrible voice acting. I've yet to hear anyone with any sense of urgency or feeling in their voice so no-one sounds like their actually there on the battlefield and that saps the game of atmosphere. Cut scenes are also awful and very Xbox 1, not that they're important.

Unless it picks up three or fourfold in later levels I'll consider this the biggest videogaming disappointment in years. Admittedly I'm a fussy player and not easily impressed but I can usually find something positive to say about a game, but I can't think of anything complimentary to say about this (well, the opening theme sounds nice I suppose) and cannot understand why reviewers are going crazy for it. It's not Halo 2.5 or Halo 2 HD, it's Halo 2.1 as far as I'm concerned. Just dreadful.
