I played through this demo a tonne of times and I love it...I can't wait to get online, this is really going to be my game.
Too powerful? I got a stupid amount of wins in a row on the PS3 because the time between Eileens combos was to short for Lei Fei to get a move in. Even the AI on this one wasn't letting me play in such a lazy way.

Shame the 360 has such a crappy d pad

Meh I'm not feeling it, characters are super detailed, but half the backgrounds look like HD genericojapan vision. The animation also looks like it has come straight out of the original Tekken game. I'll try it again but I'm doubtful I'd pick it up

Frikkin' excellent. Owning both I can't see any immediate graphical difference whatsoever and I actually expected the 360 colours to look slightly more washed out (VGA connection vs HDMI on PS3).

        I needz it.

Get an arcade stick. Personally i'm fine using the d pad but hell, why not have a massive stick in front of you!

The more I play this the more excited I get. I'm probably going to go with Kage in the final game, I did with evo so I'll probably follow the tradition.

my elite d-pad worked brilliantly on it. i can understand melenko's frustration, i had a nightmare with the original 360 pad on streetfighter.

              Stick GET!!1!

Comparing both versions with HDMI for me, I'd say the 360 has the edge, only just though. Less jaggies I've noticed.

Is there any differences between the original 360 d pads and the elite d pads? I've got an elite and the d pad felt great with VF5.

to be honest im not sure... what i do know though is that the orginal 360 depad is awful.

I'm still waiting for this to download... 5% after around an hour of waiting... I will have the full game before this is downloaded.

Ive played Rev B loads on PS3 and forked out £85 for the hori arcade pro to go with it. Great game BUT rev B has always come under flack because the AI oppenets are stupid and a seasoned player can nail them everytime.

Rev C fixed all that and thats the reason I have ordered the VF5 stick for 360 and buying the 360 version as thats what 360 is based on Rev C, much better AI, proper training mode and much bigger single player mode Thats before online etc.. comes into it so definite 100% purchase

If it's the chizzling trick then i'm not going to be doing that... rrequires to much work (for me) and the elite d pad seems to be brilliant for me!

Which one, and where have you ordered? So I can pick one up myself...

Does VF5 have a customiseable character thingy, if so, how in depth is it? as Evo had that and I would love the idea of showing my characters off online whilst I chin you Dazzyman.

It's on the list of parts to get as there hasn't been a reason so far, even that pad mod above doesn't make it as good as a pad that rests almost directly on the board.

The animation should have improved further but it has come a long long way since Tekken 1 and I think animates better any other fighting game out there.

The AA is deffo superior but does the brightness suck or what.

But I need a stick, man. Even though I did successfully land a DLC Juggle with Akira, on my first time ever in VF5! Thats because this game isn't really different from VF4 at all. Its the same game, but tweaked and more beautiful. Which is ok, VF4 is almost perfect and should not be botched at the risk of becoming a Tekken 4 like sequel.

The newcomer characters are exactly what I expected: El Blaze is not that fun for me, and Eileen rocks.
