I really enjoyed it, there are some definite problems but it was a lot of fun and the presentation and story were both pretty good. What really grabbed me was how it was like a Michael Mann film: gunfights in the street with cops, the funky music, even some of the dialogue. I'm a major Michael Mann whore so it really appealed to me. Talking about the dialogue there is a LOT of swearing in the game. Even for simple things like when you need an adrenaline shot to get you up you can hear Lynch saying 'I'm not your ******* nurse!' The voice acting by everyone involved is also excellent, you can believe that they are these characters and they aren't over the top cliches. There were also a number of different locations too which kept it interesting and making you wonder where it would go, my favourite so far by a long shot was
Downsides would be the cover system which isn't exactly great, you more have to position yourself near the edge of a wall and the body will automatically stick to it. Can be a bit of a pain in the arse at times. Another thing would be the dumb as hell AI, more from your teammates than the enemy (though they aren't the brightest either). As for the guys you are with, another annoying thing is that if any of them get badly shot up you have to give them an adrenaline shot which during a big fire fight can be a major pain in the arse at times, especially as if they die you have to restart from a checkpoint. I also noticed a few times where the difficulty spike just seemed to shoot up, the majority of the game wasn't too bad (on normal) but there were a few sections that were maddeningly hard. Not enough to crack me up completely but just were it seemed out of whack with the rest of the game. The graphics are also just like Hitman: Blood Moneys on the 360, nothing special game engine wise. Hit detection can also be a bit twitchy at times but I didn't find it too bad, the guns have recoil to them so you can't just shoot continuously like in a lot of other shooters, you have to aim and use short controlled bursts.
Overall though I had a great time with the game, yes there are things wrong with it but not enough to really hurt the game too much (depending on your opinion of course!) I got really drawn into the story and characters from the get go, it was like the start of a movie which just sucked you in and kept you interested - which lead me to flying through it one day, really got into it which doesn't happen too often.
The game was also about 7 - 8 hours long.
