Oh, I hated what little I played of Hitman (bits of 1, 2 and the omnibus - "Chronicles", was it?). I adore Freedom Fighters, which is why I picked this up - Agent 47 doesn't interest me in the slightest.
Difficult to compare it to Stranglehold. I think it's fairly close, so far, even if both games have very different good or bad points.
EDIT: And it's really not that difficult on Hard, aside from the aforementioned spike that's holding me up. Takes me about a second to drop enemies behind cover - all you need to do is get used to the recoil (sort-of-kind-of-more-realistic-than-you'd-expect) and you're laughing. Anyone who's claimed their targets simply won't go down - much as I know this forum frowns on telling people they're wrong, I, well, they are.
I unlocked the achievement for getting 47 headshots inside a few minutes. It's just that (Havana spoilers)
I may just give up and do it on co-op, if that nets the achievement for beating it on Hard...
EDIT AGAIN: And of course the AI can be exploited until it's lying on the floor pleading for mercy, which helps somewhat.
