It's double bass pedal playing mate. No way you could play that with one bass drum pedal.

Only approx. every other bass drum beat is actually being played in RB.

Is it possible to plug my Xbox 360 instruments into the Wii and play the Wii version? I'm hoping the power of the USB allows inter-racial instrument play!

Nope, fraid not. I can't think of a reason why you'd want to, though

Well we've organised a Rock Band night tonight and the girlfriend has a Wii and I have Xbox360 instruments. It'd be good to rent the Wii version and take the instruments rather than moving my fragile dodgy as **** 360.

No matter, shame really as you'd expect cross platform instruments.

You can plug your PS3 instruments into a PS2 and use them with the (NTSC-U only) PS2 version, though.

Yesterday morning I went to the post office and picked up my replacement pedal. Really impressed with the service - I broke my old pedal late Monday evening and requested a new one straight away, and I could have had it Wednesday if I'd been in when they tried to deliver. So I was very pleased with that.

I went home, gave RttH another few goes and got 85%. Then I tried WGFA again, and did it. Went back to RttH even more determined, and somehow clawed my way through! Expert career completed! So just a couple of DLC songs I've downloaded to do, then I'll have to get some more to tide me over until RB2 comes out. All in all, yesterday was a pretty good day for Rock Band progress.

Was in Gamestation today and they are doing rock band for £129. Have a few games to trade in but dont know if I should buy it on Ps3 or 360?? Was thinking ps3 since RB2 is out soon and region free. Is one better than the other ??

Just got this solus today - hopefully no issues with a GH3 guitar. Can't wait to play 'Go with the Flow' w00t!

Need some help with this game.

Have had all the guitar hero game and could five star most songs on medium. Just cant seem to get the hang of the rock band guitar.

Am ok on slow songs but any thing with a long line of notes (like the hand that feeds) I strum away in time but always miss a note in the middle. Dont know if its me or the very lose soft strum bar.

                        Any tips ??

Do you need to calibrate the game to your TV? Also the window for strumming is smaller than that of Guitar Hero III, it took some getting used to for me.

I used the calibrate option and it seems ok. Must just be me. Will need to play more and try and improve.

                            Cheers

Guitar hero series especially 3 has extremely loose timing so you can be way off. Rock band you near enough have to get the timing spot on or you fail the note. Id start out getting used to that and then check the calibration. Calibration for me was off as it set it up to LCD but as I use a seperate reciever (onkyo 605) i didnt need any adjustment so had to alter it back to 0 after a days play.

I had slight calibration difficulties on my plasma - used the plama setting in options and is ok now. I think it's easier than GH3 though, I'm 5 starring everything in hard and the moment.
