The drums are better than the Drummania ones, but they feel like the Yamaha electro kits, which I'm not particularly fond of.

The guitar, I loathe; the strum bar is far too springy for my liking.

Great game though, hitting up most of the drum tracks on Expert and some of em' are easy enough, although 'Tom Sawyer' is a bit of a sod.

Apart from the strum bar everything else about the guitar is superior to the Guitar Hero controllers, the solo buttons while tricky at first are really fun to use and having the buttons flush with the rest of the fret board makes sliding up & down feel like playing a proper guitar.

Drums I'm not too sure about, design wise they're better than the standard drum controller for Drummania especially where the bass pedal is concerned but I don't think they're as responsive and certainly nowhere near the quality of the Yamaha kits on the arcade cabs (no surprise there really given the price).

I found that at first but after a while I found even that to be superior as it meant I could play it late at night as it's so quiet. I also like that it's extremely sensitive, though as I say, at first I wasn't keen.

No, its due in the Spring some time. Apparently the delay is down to making the instruments.

Had my first four piece band toghether the other night,while there were wires everywhere and it was a bit cramped it was fantastic fun.If the downloadable content keeps arriving every week as planned then this game should be endless.

anyone who just recieved there's from bn how long did it take say's 3-5 day's shipping and did anyone avaoid customs, im not bothered as i added this into the price before i bought it anyway.
So with customs @ ?35ish makes it ?140 del im sure that the uk version will be about this anyway rip off country we live in

YOu won't avoid customs. It'll take about 3-4 days to arrive - but you can track it.

Customs will be nearer £40 if UPS deliver it. Mine was £38, as they charge something like £8/9 admin fee anyway.

As Mr Ono says, you can track it literally every step of the way, but you will NOT avoid customs if UPS are the courier. Regarding your mate getting away with one, not for certain, some couriers bill you later.

Glad more people are getting in on this now, it's absolutely brilliant.

When the US PSN cards are available I'll be an extremely happy man!

I thought b&n would only ship to US addresses - at least it says this on the page ?

B&N get their stock of Rock Band from Gamestop.com, don't know if that makes a difference at all but I'm sure people on here got theirs from B&N.

I got mine from Gamestop, and incidentally I would NOT reccommend using them after my experience.

After messing about with it in Blockbuster while on holiday in Florida and recently getting into Guitar Hero, I'm disappointed this isn't region free on the 360. It wouldn't surprise me if they just change the Dollar sign to a Pound when we get it ($170). Hearing about the quality of the instruments though it's probably worth getting it in the UK in case you have to return/exchange anything.
