It's an EA game isn't it, they are never region free. It's region free on PS3 though which is what I think everyone in this thread is playing it on.

I've heard £149.99 is the UK retail price, which after the "great" exchange rate from the US is just about the same as I paid for it

The only other reason (barring the BD playback) the PS3 got switched on over Xmas, whacked the cheat-code in when friends were over at rattled through some of our faves... like 'Tom Sawyer', 'Run To The Hills' and 'Enter Sandman'.

Great fun!

I just downloaded the Metallica pack , god how i wish i hadnt, i forgot how much i hate Metallica, they just seem to go on and on, good value if i liked the songs.

'... And Justice For All' does twitter on I find, didn't bother downloading the other tracks. Might have to go for the Sabbath ones though.

Yes i downloaded the Sabbabth pack i like it, i cant really say i know much about Black Sabbath songs, but once i played them i recognised them , they are all covers though not the original recordings.

Seriously though, I cannot overstate how much Won't get fooled again was one of those "gaming moments" we live for in games, at least for me.

Managed to wangle a $50 Visa gift card so I'll be downloading the other tracks asap!

My Dad's really into this sort of music and despite not playing games he was loving Guitar Hero III on Boxing Day, so I'm actually looking forward to the PAL release of this.

Ordered the PS3 version from Barnes & Noble over Christmas, and it was delivered this morning (?39 customs charges). Now I've got to sit at work all day before I can get back and try it out

I already bought three of the music packs from PSN in anticipation (Metallica, Black Sabbath and QOTSA).

Appeal as it should be less than that. I got USA PS3 for 400 US Dollars on ebay and pay 54 pounds. I assume 11 pounds handing charge plus about 17.5% for 250 pounds. So it give you an idea.

I will buy this game for USA PS3 when my arm complete healed from injury (3 months so far) so I can use the drums So it probably be healed when the PAL version get released.
