Also, did you select US dollars as the currency, or UK £? Might sound a silly question but I can't work out if it want's to know the currency you are adding, or will be spending!

my m8 did he bought a couple of tracks for rock band from us store
then logged into the jap store and bought gt5 same principle except navigating japenese menu's

Not yet but plan too today. I added £ but will report back if it works.

UPDATE it works great! Added funds in £ and payed using $ kept the old address the same. I thought they were going to add whole albums? I bought the David Bowie 3 song pack but nothing else really interested me.

for the Entropay registration i used all real UK information. On the Ps3 card registration side i kept my US address. Hope that helps. Was really simple to set up and 5% seems like a decent amount for U.S transactions especially at the current exchange rate.

sorry that this isn't about credit cards but I played the game for the first time on Saturday and had a really good time with it so thought Id post a quick impression.

The guitar took a little getting used to after my hours and hours on guitar hero but I soon got used to the silence. The main shock was the drums, I was surprised by how difficult they were. I can hold down a beat on a normal set of drums but when there is no room for error and the patterns keep coming relentlessly I found it terrifying and kept cracking up

The only problem I had with it was the interface design which seemed a bit clunky, constantly in and out of menus and having to keep using the controller to select go for the person on the mic.

but that's a minor quibble for a game that swallowed up 4hrs of our lives in a time that felt like 10 minutes. I think this will persuade me to get a 360 when its released over here.

I find the lifespan of the game neverending, and if they keep at least 3 tracks coming per week, this will be played a long long time, on the drums, i have been trying for a month now to master them, and they are hard, i can 5 star a couple of songs on medium but that s about it, and yes i think its out around march here, but it s not been confirmed.

Surely they will have to stop the DLC at some point though, in time for the inevitable Rock Band 2 or something?

I was sure they'd said they didn't see Rock Band 2 happenning, they'd keep doing DLC and patch in new instruments.. Maybe I'm wrong.

The DLC is scheduled for every week of this year though.

I would hope rock band 2 would maybe happen in 2009 not this year, we are still awaiting the first whole downloadable album as well, i think its been confirmed to be a Who album, but i could be wrong, it will be interesting to see what they price a whole album at, got to be $10 at least
