Hi Chaps

Loving this so far (PS3 version), just wanted to ask if everyone else has a rather large delay on the mic between singing and your voice coming out the speakers? I'm running video and audio through HDMI on an Onkyo 605 amp. The guitar and drums seem spot on after configuring the guitar.

I understand the delay might be to do with the processing on the amp but I also run singstar with the same configuration and there is no (or only slight) delay?.

Anyone else noticed this?

Yep, I'm using the same; sound and image through HDMI on an Onkyo 705, and get the same thing. I figured it was just a quirk (since the notes were still registering) and just turned the mic volume down to 0 (since I don't want to hear myself sing anyway ).

Then I didn't try singing again anyhow.

Yep I changed my delay to -50 on game and it sorted it (NOT +50). I have 605 also

Can you delay the audio? I had a look but couldn't find anything, does the same on my Panasonic HT amp. Really annoying for drumming more than anything else, as you have to hit the drums before you hear the drum beat making it confusing.

The only lag thing I could find in my quick look on Saturday was for video.

Regarding the delay, mine is zero but I took the game round to a mates and the delay was huge! The only differences in our setups is that my tv is an LCD and his a Plasma and that he uses HDMI and I use component.

I absolutely love this game! Only got it today and I played it for one night before that...and it's the greatest thing in the history of everything! Drums are SO much harder than they look and I have to play them on Easy (I play guitar on Expert) but the learning curve is there and it's up to me to improve. I can't call the game unfair for being difficult - it's up to me to be better at the game.

And yet, for a game so difficult, this is the absolute BEST multiplayer game ever For everybody...regardless of experience, age, gender, or tastes...I've never seen such an incredible multiplayer game. Get 10 relatives in a room and I absolutely guarantee every one of them enjoys this game!

God damn I LOVE hearing peoples first opinions about this game. Best thing I ever bought, even now 4 months since release I play it every day. Never has a game done that to me so far down the line.

EDIT; I will say one thing, on my hunt for busy RB message boards,the lack of a UK release date is really stopping people getting hyped. I wish they'd announce it, regardless of when it is, so the hype machine can gather pace again.

I'm pretty frustrated by the lack of solid PAL release news. I don't have a PS3, but do have a PAL and a JPN 360 neither of which will play the US version of Rock Bank.

Don't really want to have to pay to import the US version AND a console that will play it!

Better off getting a PS3 and importing, at least you end up with a console you don't have.

Still, a release date would be nice and it's incredibly weak they haven't come out with it.

That's why I imported the PS3 version. I really, truly, wanted the 360 version because of the Les Paul Guitar (the Strat with Rock Band is horrible in comparison)...but I could be waiting 6 months for it to appear and there's rumours of a 'localised' soundtrack for Europe as well

But don't forget with the PS3 ver, you can play both versions on the same console, if they add anything decent for Europe, I'll be picking up a game only PAL ver too

Tis a bummer though, I've got a GH2 guitar I cudda been using with a 360 ver and I miss voice chat playin the game with my mate

NIN pack is definitely not for guitarists, with the exception of The Perfect Drug there isn't much guitar work going on and you'll be playing piano parts and not much else on a few occasions. Drummers are in for a severe workout though, March of the Pigs and Pefect Drug will probably destroy your arms,legs and bass pedal on expert.

From comments I've heard from the Harmonix forum it appears that EA are waiting for Army of Two (7/3/08) to be released before making any definite plans/statements.
