That can be added to five Megadeth songs on my suddenly rapidly-growing list of songs I can't finish
EDIT: Add YYZ to that list. Hmm, seven songs in the past month when, for the previous eight or so months, I've been able to finish everything on Expert. Is it me or is Harmonix ramping up the difficulty to possibly trump GH4's drums...?Last edited by MrMarbles; 27-09-2008, 16:51.

I wouldn't mind a few of those tracks but I can't justify buying them in case I decide I want the whole album in the future: cash wasted. I'm like this with all the big packs, I wouldn't mind some Who/Rush stuff either. Woe is me and all that
Via Youtube, one of the RHCP songs looks mental though

Just got the RHCP album today... excellent stuff, and on the same day they announce an 18 song strong AC/DC pack. I cant wait.
Only bad news is the AC/DC pack is going to be a standalone disc like GH Aerosmith but for 360/PS3 owners you can then use a serial code in the box to allow you to migrate songs to the HDD. Looks like it'll cost $39us (ouch) but for me its just too good to pass up, some of the songs on there are just gravy.
So Harmonix and MTV Games told the New York Times all about the upcoming AC/DC Live Rock Band track pack, but they omitted some important details, which the official press release is all-too happy to fill us in on. Details such as the release date, November 2nd for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 2 in…

Because AC/DC have a huge problem with people downloading songs. They feel that their albums should only be sold as albums, people shouldn't just be allowed to buy the one track they want.
It might be made available as a full pack (without allowing you to buy single songs) in the future, but I imagine Harmonix thought that since people will only be able to buy all or nothing, a disk is easier to market and people that don't buy DLC will still be able to get it, opening up the potential market a bit.

It's not necessarily worth it, but the price can't be compared to what it'd cost as DLC because it's a standalone game, and to a huge AC/DC fan it'll probably be worth it.
On the plus side, the fact that it's on disk has one major advantage: I'm sure it'll be reduced in price fairly steeply once it doesn't sell and amazon and Play have got warehouses full of them, and you could end up getting it for less than the DLC would've cost.

And not just any Motley Crue album. It's Dr. Feelgood. The announcement comes not from Harmonix, and not from MTV, but from the Crue themselves (or, at least their publicists), with a small note on the band's imeem portal letting us know that the album many will say is their crowning achievement will be available for…
This will be the best thing ever. I could quite happily have the entire Crue library on this game. Its just a shame that I have a broken collar bone leaving me unable to drum or guitar. Bah.
