Go for it, you won't be disappointed. The Drums are def my favourite instrument, ok you can barely hear the music above the racket they make but it's soooooo much fun especially when you get in that magical zone.

The pedal takes a bit of getting used to but once you get comfortable it adds a lot to the challenge. I would love to have a go on a real drum kit after playing this for a couple of weeks.

My only complain with the drums is the bass pedal. Its ridiculously "new" and I can't break it in at all, the resistance is high and therefore it tires your ankle a lot. If you can get used to it you'll love it. I do find the bass pedal on Rock Band harder than a real bass pedal though.

My Rock Band arrived for the PS3 yesterday from Canada.

Wow is all i can say, loved playing GH 2 & 3 but Rock band is on another level.

I even managed to get the misses on the mic last night and thats a first. Only problem with that is that she wanted to sing Bon Jovi

Had a little go on the drums and enjoyed it but as people have said it will take some time to get used to.

Overall super impressed with the game and so glad i took on the import charges and went for it.

One question i have is what is the buttons on the bottom of the guitar for??

Is that for solo's??

Yeah VG+

Cost was quite high, but in all honesty well worth it.

The shipping cost more than the game. if you add it to your basket it will tell you your shipping.

Got to say thou, i wouldnt buy it from anyone else other than VG+, always had great service and they got the PS3 version to me in 3 days so well chuffed.

I was in your shoes and i went for it and to be honest best thing i have spent my money on in ages.

Is that for solo's??

During solos you don't have to strum, you can use the solo buttons for that and you won't have to strum.

You could play whole songs with the solo buttons but you would have to strum unless you are actually IN the solo section.

picked this up from another forum, what a fantastic game! was quite surprised as ive taken to the drums quite well so far. only playing on easy mind! lookin forward to rockin out with the GF. shame theres no camera support ala singstar though. but a very small gripe for such a great game
