Singstar PS3

He's talking about the PS2 game High School Musical Sing It which uses the same mics but isn't actually part of the Singstar series. My kids like it but from what I've seen the presentation of it is quite poor compared to the Singstar games. If you are after it, it's only ?17.99 or so in Asda and appears to work on BC PS3s with no problems.

Ah OK, cool thanks. I wouldn't buy it separately, but I've been toying with the idea of picking this up for larks and that might have swung it considering how mad my eldest (And increasingly my youngest) are for HSM.

Anyone else getting any feedback problems with the mics and is there anything you can do about apart from turning the tv down?. Even standing as far apart as they will stretch to at high volumes i'm still getting it and it's annoying, will pick up the wireless mics in the new year and give them a try.

Been playing more of this i feel like a deaf cat lol but its so much fun with the family around the tv.They do need more songs only extra ive brought is sade smooth operator need wireless mics that will complete the rig.

This game has got the whole family playing the PS3. Great stuff. Needs more good songs though although the variety given out-the-box is excellent IMO.

Never had one of these before but tried it at a relly's over Christmas and thought I'd take the plunge. As I've not had one before, ordered the mic bundle which I assumed would contain everything I needed to jump on in.

It arrived today and been looking forward to giving it a whirl tonight, but imagine my disappoint when the game tells me to connect the mics using the non-existent usb converter thing What's the point in selling a bundle if it doesn't have all the bits you need to play the damn game!

Anyone know where I'm supposed to get the usb thing?

Sounds like you got an incomplete package there. The converter always came with the PS2 Singstar games and it would be madness to leave it out now. You need to send it back and ask for a replacement.

Thanks SteJay, have spoken to them and they're sorting out a replacement copy. Have to admit was surprised, but not having Singstar'd before wasn't sure if the converter should've been included or not.

Played some singstar tonight.

Presentation wise it's really nice and seeing some other people 's singing efforts is on the verge of being X-Factor cringingly funny.

But, I'm a little disappointed with the track listing.

I looked at Singstore and I thought you could download all the tracks from the previous Singstar games... Obviously, I thought wrong!
