Rez HD - 360

Went up this morning and weighs in at about 119 meg.

The game comes with both HD and original versions but I only dabbled with HD before my vile task masters demanded I come into work.

The game is as good as ever and the HD graffix look mint. Everything is clean and crisp and the enemies look especially good.

The sound is top quality as well.

I think I'll be putting a fair few hours into this...

The achievements are pretty decent. Experienced players should get most of them easily but there are a couple that will require some work.

Is the HD version the same as the SD version but without jaggies? Or are the visuals different?

As far as I can see the visuals are exactly the same.

"Rez HD" = Rez with HD resolution graphics and 16:9
"Rez Standard" = Rez with SD graphics and 4:3

No its comes out in 720p according to my screen

Check your sound.. my defaulted to Stereo, you need to change it to 5.1 (if you have 5.1 system obviouly)

hah.. good call - was just playing and leaning close to the surrounds mid game working out if it was outputting to them. Mine had also defaulted to stereo.

Mines running 1080p over VGA btw to somebody asking earlier.

The output won't tell you what the native resolution of the game is. It will just output at whatever resolution the 360 is set to (either upscaling or downscaling).

It's got to be 720p. They would have made a bigger deal out of it had it been 1080p.

I'd be surprised if they couldn't pull this off over 1080p though - it's incredibly basic. I can't see any aliasing though from playing on my 40" which is something I guess - even if it is 720 it's not jaggy as you like.
