Initial D Extreme Stage (PS3)

The new car add on pack is up on the Japanese Playstation Store.....but it won't let me add it to the cart to download. The item description is in orange text and it mentions the XMB but I can't read any of it being that it's all in Japanese. Anyone know how to get it?

Ok heres what you do

1) sign onto your japanese psn account
2) start up extreme stage, create a new character (since your japanese psn account prob doesnt have any saves on it etc)
3) download the dlc from psn store
4) load up extreme stage again, goto network mode, accept terms then it will prompt you to download the update, select "yes"!
5) logout of japanese psn account and back onto your normal saves/euro account

Cars should be there in the list

Might not even have todo it on your japan psn account first, but thats what the hear say tells me, worked for me anyway

Silly question (maybe) but will the dlc work with the Asian version aswell?

Good question since the asian version has no network menu, so im not how how you activate the dlc from the store, give it 24hours or so and im sure the results will be in from other sources, ill keep this thread up to date with it

Can anyone confirm what is in the DLC pack? Hoping for the RX-8 which would lead me to buy the JP version of this as well as the Asian one I have.

According to the official Sega announcement the car pack contains:

Toyota Altezza RS200 Z Edition (SXE10)
Mazda RX8 Type X (SE3P)
Mazda Eunos Roadster (NA6CE)

That'd be nice, I'd like the option of custom tracks as well as I have most of the tracks from 1-3, don't really fancy downloading them if their not free.

Be interesting to see whats on the disc as the extra cars were already on there it seems, all the update does is unlock them, wish I had a Blu-ray drive for the PC so I could see what else is on there.

Still does have a lot of kanji although each menu does have english in the top right hand corner to tell you what mode you've selected, not really had a problem with it tbh, after owning it for a day or 2 all the menus become pretty much second nature.
