Thanks ShadowDancer. I'll be checking this out when my 360 comes back. The arcade has come a long with from the days of Root Beer Tapper.

Hmm I dunno about this. For me it doesnt have that great wow factor like when they remade Pacman to CE. Its good but I dont think its as good as Galaga/88 on its own really Id rather they not have messed about with it so much.

I really like this it's a great revision, not up there with Pac-man CE but a great addition to the live arcade roster.
It gives me a shudder of excitement when I see these games going up on release,I mean look at the good things we've had already Rez,Ikaruga,Omega Five,Triggerheart,Pac-man.
I have a fantasy that the success of these releases triggers some kind of renaissance and we'll have a second coming of the great old days.

I am enjoying this too after taking a break from Geometry Wars Evoloved 2.

I like this a lot but I echo the previous poster who prefers '88. As good as this is, I just don't think it feels 'Galaga enough'. The pacman revision was unmistakably pacman, but if you put someone in front of this without telling them what it is would they make the link?

One shot of the demo and I purchased the full game. A great update of Galaga and a good example of twitch gaming. Bite size levels set the pace just right and the modern visuals are a treat on the eyes. Simple game mechanics and controls so you just get right into it quickly. Good job Namco.

I did exactly the same yesterday, was a 2000pt visit for me.

Loved the demo, just haven't got around to buying it yet. Instantly clicked, same as Castle crashers (I don't care what anyone says, those graphics were made with Flash)

I have been playing this more and it gets better with repeated plays. There doesn't seem to be as many people out there playing this as I thought there may be, but it is aboslutely top notch old style arcade class. Xbox live has been excellent over the last couple of months.
