I must have died 30 times on her - I just kept plugging away and eventually she fell. One of the worst designed boss battles I've ever had the misfortune to play.

Yup, took me an hour. Its now dropped me back in the same spot, and enemies are spawning again. Is this the end? Has it finished? Is there more to see storywise?

How MS agreed to fund and release this I'll never know.

        You basically

just have to run back a few rooms which triggers a cut scene and then you're back in Aesir for another cut-scene and that's about it.

The story really didn't make much sense and just seemed to end.

That boss must have taken me a good half hour to 45 minutes - half of which was spent watching the death animation! Ludicrous.

Played this for last 3days and loved it. Played as Bioengineer and I think I only died 7 times in the entire game and 5 was on just level 2 getting used to it then didnt die again till right at end (last boss I only died on her twice and killed her in about 8mins). I really liked the game until the last level and wasnt keen on the different mobs. I did warm to em later on but they still feel stagnant meat shield fodder compared to the elves and rest just didnt have the same charm.

I adore the relaxing gameplay and all the loot, just reminds me of playing a MMORPG. Started my second run on campaign at level 27 I think I was then it popped up I could go out and have different mobs without the story if I wanted and thats when the game changed for me into something blissfull. Loads of mobs, loads of trolls in the starting screen. Im totally hooked in it and can easily see me doing loot runs for donkeys years. Like the way now I can either go pop in in order in the hologram screen and go get my tokens to increase chance of epic drops, do em out of sequence whenever I want or pop back into it and play the story again while keeping leveling up.

Just seems to me its a marmite game you either get it and like doing loot runs or your in the camp of it as a tiresome generic brawler with a crap story. Me Id give it a 8/10 and I hope we get a trilogy and DLC their promising.

£20 on the game website for those who want it cheap.

Played the demo, just a question for those that have it.Do you only fight those robots through the entire game?

To be honest my major gripe is....there is no manual method to heal seems a pretty stupid thing and also a guard button would have made the combat much more skillful

Just finished my first playthrough. Are the drops completely random? Or do some of them appear after certain conditions are met? I want some reds!!

Drops depend on how many tokens you get to some extent and your loot % drop addition but its very very very rare to get reds. I have one in 30hours of playing and that was for finishing it with chacter on first play thru.

Ive just dinged my first character to level 50 a Bioengineer after two playthrus on campaign and a few level drop in and outs. I really cant get enough of it and can see me not getting bored of doing it with each character. Going to concentrate on doing warp gate runs with this one then setting up a 2nd character today and tommorow.

For healing you want a bioengineer as they seem to design the game more around co-op. For me the game comes to life much better after you finish the campaign for the first time and then can drop in and out doing loot runs with semi random mobs on that level. As the game levels with you your always on the same footing. I only died once though in a 2sitting marathon playing the campaign properly from start to finish on my second playthru (did it to see if Id get another red but I didnt so better to do a warpgate run instead for a whole level by look of it) and that in my 40s to 49 and boy do those missile guys get hard. My engineer has a uber shield with a massive regen and cooldown buffs so I get zero damage for using it around about every min and it lasts 20seconds so comes in very handy for the trolls and missiles.

For me its my most played game I guess in last few months. Yep it has some issues (I dont count dying and waiting as one as I hardly ever die) but if you play it without the story its fantastic and very loot hording addictive.

Urgh, playing Helheim, this is the most tedious level of any game Ive ever played. Close to zero enjoyment, and utterly despise those

                      wraiths that drain your health

                      and the

fat bastards on flying machines surrounded by enemies that won't die until she does.

                      Appalling, just ... bleurgh
