Presumably all the existing DLC, plus a (thus far) exclusive Hoth level, which in all fairness should be going up on the store if LA has discontinued the Sith Edition.

Not sure they will add much to the overall experience, but I really liked TFU and felt that some of the story elements worked better than the prequel movies, so will undoubtedly purchase for use when I feel like giving the game another go through.

Excellent, thanks. Always meant to play it but for some reason never got around to picking it up - the recent sequel announcement reminded me.

Started playing this night on Sith Lord (Hard) difficulty. It's hard! D:

But in a good way. Jumped straight into the hanger expecting to be able to rip everything to pieces (This is after the Vader prologue obviously, which seemed a little out of place. Starkiller is so much more fluid to control) and was cut down pretty sharpish by one of the gun emplacements. So next the time I approached it properly, using the environment to provide cover and to take out the enemies.

The force grip takes a little getting used to, but once you do it's great flinging people around here, there and everywhere.

My only gripe so far (Aside from the loading actually, which isn't ideal when going through the upgrade interface) is the double jump mechanism - it's much too fast. I've only really needed it a couple of times so far but it's taken me longer than it should have done to scale a couple of small vertical sections.

Currently in the middle of the first Jedi fight at the end (I assume) of the first mission. Really looking forward to seeing how the story plays out.

Played some more of this last night. There are some really crappy check points within the game, and coupled with the long loading it can get incredibly frustrating!

The game also really struggles when you have limited space. Died several times because I was on a small platform with four enemies and found myself pushed off without even being attacked on more than one occasion.

I'm at the end of the second level at the moment, fighting the Jedi. Finding him difficult because the game doesn't do a great job of communicating either his attacks or whether your attacks are successful.

I'm still enjoying it, but at the moment not as much as I'd hoped. I'm a huge Star Wars fan though, so I'm sticking with it because of all of the comments on how good the storyline is. Hopefully they learn from this game with the sequel anyway.

The story really is great and well presented. I enjoyed the game a lot too (enough to play it through twice) but I could see why some people mightn't get on with it.

I don't think I've even scratched the surface of the story yet. I'm at the end of the third mission, I'm guessing something interesting is going to happen when I'm done here.

I still find the whole experience very hit and miss though, particularly in closed environments where there are a lot things to grip - I'm resigned to powering up the lightning attack at the moment because sometimes it's the only effective way of dealing with large groups of attackers. If you throw a couple of ranged enemies into the mix it can get tricky.

At the moment I'm either trying to use the terrain to my advantage (Sometimes in ways that I might consider cheap) or identifying key targets (The aforementioned ranged attackers or a key enemy (Like the annoying Shaman things on the current planet that makes everything else invincible for example)) and taking them down before being able to cut through the rest.

And underpinning the frustration in time honoured fashion is a check point system that often makes you play through tough sections multiple times, has fairly long loading times and... unskippable cut-scenes. Not even story based ones either, just Juno pointing out that there are enemies up ahead and me having to sit there waiting multiple times while the camera pans up there. Argh! No ****ing need!

Note: Despite the overwhelmingly negative comments I still intend on carrying on in the hope that it will eventually click.

I've just read the basics on the IGN guide, because I think I'm finding this too hard. Seems like starting on hard was an incredibly bad decision. >_<

Started again on an easier difficulty and the game is completely transformed. Apparently each new playthrough allows you to take your character progression with you? If that's the case it looks like the difficulty levels are balanced around that. Would have been nice to know in advance before torturing myself!

Also, I hope they fired whoever came up with the check point design.

Playing through on this difficulty setting is really highlighting the problems with the check point system, I'm not looking forward to the next section I have to try and play through.

Having said that, I'm about 70% of the way through a second run so it's clearly not all bad. Going to go for the Platinum I think.

Really have to recommend Star Wars fans play through this for the story.

I picked this up again last night (Too tired to start Demons Souls, although I was rewarded by getting a phone call at work at 05:00 this morning. Yay! <_<). I'm at the penultimate room on the hardest difficulty and not only is it ridiculously nails (I can't speed run it because I'm also going for the Holocrons) but there's a 30 second un-skippable cut-scene right after my check point.

RAGE!

If I don't do it tonight I'm going to call it a day on this one.

Woohoo, managed it last night! Then got to
and I can hardly touch the bugger. >_<

Try to get him to do his wave attack thing, it's fairly easily jumped over giving you a few seconds to batter him =>

Yeah, I think distance is the key. I just need to cut down on the mistakes and work out the best way of damaging him when I get an opening (Ideally a quick knock down so that I can laz0r him to death).

Don't remember struggling on the first play through, but you die ridiculously fast on Sith Master.

Finished this last night, so I'm done with all of the campaign based trophies. A little grinding on the specific kill types to do (I really wish this type of trophy would die out) and the challenges and I'll be done.
