DL'd this on my 360 before my unstable internet connection gave up on me. Man what a laugh! Proper game like they used to make. Gave it half an hour before the punishing difficulty cornholed me, however I can see myself putting in some serious time on this one.

Everyone should play this to remind them the way old games used to be!

I finished this without dying the other day and did the 'Gamers Day' 5 times in a day achievement.

All it takes is a bit of persistence but again, that's what old skool games were about!

Just decided to give Capcom ?3.48 for what is basically a survival mode and a sprite swap, I always say I won't pay for extra content that should of been in there to start with but I just this game.

I actually purchased this on wii yesterday. Even bought myself a classic controller just for this!

I'm thoroughly impressed with the game itself, it's just immense =)

However the graphics just seemed a bit too bright and crisp for a nes game. I'm actually playin it on my 32" sony trinitron through rgb.. and it does look nice don't get me wrong.

It?s just that nes graphics seem a bit softer. Sort of reminds me of what emulated games on the xbox looked like. Nice and colourful but still not quite right.
I dunno.. compare it to actual nes games on a crt and you?ll see what I mean. I think its cause its 480i (same as all other ps2, gcn, xbox and wii games)


I mean capcom included a legacy mode, so they could?ve added a 256 x 240 mode right? (240i) That would?ve completed the retro experience for me..
