I had a look on youtube and there's people perfecting the game without taking any damage! >_< as well as some quality speed runs!

Galaxy Man

is by far the easiest level and boss to beat

Here is a guy who has done the whole game - no damage. It can be quite good to get some tips on stages and areas where you're stuck. All levels are there. I'm sure he is using an auto fire pad tho!

Capcom really are a bunch of lazy f*cks not adding trophies to the PS3 version then, i'll be gutted if they do the same with SSF2THD.

I'm loving this too. Beat around half of the initial stages and love the design...it couldn't be any closer to the original mega man games, its simply brilliant.

Definitely going to back-track and play some more of the original MM games and X games.

Retro does it for me as much as ever.

My poor head couldn't take much gaming today. (too much ale)

Playing it on the Wii as the wiimote as a nes style pad is aces!
Did do the trial on PS3 but controller swung it for me and I'll be damned if I'm playing it with the 360 d-pad, achievments or not. (The wii version has them built into the game and I've never been bothered about a high gamerscore anyway)

The game has been out for a few days. People's skill is amazing... or the lack of it. I certainly lack it. I'm going through these levels "head on" and finding myself falling into pits or onto spikes more often then usual. This game must be harder than the rest and is better for it. Best ten bucks I've spent in a while.

I played MM9 yesterday for an hour or two, and it's sooooooooooo hard. I recently played through MM 1-3 on my Famicom to get myself in the mood for this but I'm sure it's harder!

Still, gotta persevere!

Just been looking at the achievements for the Xbox 360 version...Jeez! They are a whole other kettle of fish!

Complete the game without continuing
Defeat all the bosses using the megabuster
Complete the game without dying!
Complete the game 5 times in 1 day!!

screw that! I'm battling hard to just to stay alive, kudos to anyone who gets any of these achievements!

Complete it 5 times in one day? I understand Mega Man 9 is a game made for the hardcore market, and 360 achievments on live games are often crazy, but thats just flat out insanity really.

I havent played it that much, but so far ive yet to even complete a level, nevermind the whole game without dying once.

Tornado man stage

beat the boss on second attempt

but the platforming got me.

The music on that stage is top notch and that is not a flippant comment.
The music in the game that I have played so far has been highly composed and written and is of the highest quality and I'm sure Entwhistle has risen from his grave to do the bass notes/lines. They are amazing.

I love this game so much. I like the challenge alot.

Play time was 3:51 but it's probably closer to 6 hours as there were a couple of sessions that I didn't save....Also watched a vid to get the Wily stage 3 boss routine down (which probably saved me an hour)

Used a couple of E tanks on the last boss but that was about it.

Looking at the top guys time he's done it in 24 mins!
I don't think I can be bothered to go back for all the challenge stuff, would add a lot of reply value tho for sure.

I'm content to know I'm not a soft and flabby as I first thought...Still got it! LOL

Like a few others have said, the soundtrack to this is awesome, especially like the track on the hornet man stage, just gone and bought the soundtrack off ebay. While browsing for it I came across this

Bloody hell fella, well done! I wouldn't have fancied beating him with the megabuster.

There is generally a natural progression for who people think is the easiest boss to take down first - and it isn't him! So kudos for persistence!

Cheers mate, the original plan was to buy an energy power up before I started the stage but I forgot to buy one, decided to play the stage anyway, although I didn't think I'd have much of a chance, just glad he's out of the way now.

I've only got one new weapon at the minute which is a concrete gun, just fires out blocks, haven't really found much use for it at the minute
