I beat it! Woo! Didn't even die once on the Wily levels (died once on Wily though, didn't pay attention to my life). Got the Quick Draw X achievement too (beat final boss in under 180 seconds )

Also, the ending is pretty great. I guess Inafune didn't like the 16 bit games Also, keep your eyes out for something on the background.

Clear time was 10 hours! Though I'd say about 3-4 of those were harvesting screws to get the 999 achievement, and to buy some E-tanks :P

By the way, the full game and Demo is out on the European PS Store, I just tried the demo! Looks sweet! I am gonna wait til the U.S Store updates as it will be a cheaper option for me!

Tried the demo - looks and plays fantastic, and I love the music - but I think it really would be too hard for me, probably drive me insane so maybe not worth the purchase.. still very tempted though

Got this and umm. Its a bit hard isnt it?

Despite just completing Mega Man 2 recently on the VC I cant seem to finish a single level on this (dosent help that they all seem rather large and take you back miles when you die). Will keep at it just becuase I love Megaman, but its alot more frustrating than any other game in the series IMO, and thats saying alot.

It is extremely hard but really once you've memorised the pattern or got the timing down, it'll be a breeze. I mean, I died so many times at first, but now I can run through most of the robot masters levels without taking a hit and I'm wondering why I had so much trouble in the first place hehe.

Yeah, this has to be one of the best platform games I've played. I think this might be the best MM game, the level design is truly stunning imo. It all clicks, its awesome.

I've beaten Galaxy Man after playing the stage for about 10 times and losing to him for about 2 times. Now I can almost run through it without getting hit, and beat the boss with confidence. Its like the old days; suffering, suffering and then mastery. An overabundance of checkpoints hurts gaming skills, which is also ok... time is not on my side as it were in the 90's.

It MIGHT be somewhat lame and non-oldschool that you can easily buy Energy tanks. But in this case, it does simply follow up MM8.

I can't remember the NES Megaman games (I think I had no. 3) being that hard!

I beat the first three recently on the rockman mega-world on JPN megadrive. I have to say...at first play MM9 is much harder. Bloody good fun though and as already stated..its just learning patterns..I love it!

They wernt really, the only thing that was that hard about them were some of the boss fights.

This is incredabley and constantly hard though, and its as painful as it is fun to play.

Anyone have any idea how to make this work in 480p? I've one of those Wii VGA leads and seeing as they'll only work in progressive my monitor can't run this right now. Seems daft, seeing as all the JPN VC stuff does it fine.

There seems to be a lot more instant death situations than in the old games which makes it feel a lot more harsh...

The game is classic Megaman tho, no doubt, but I think I may be too soft and flabby in my old age to persist

Wow! 4 hours down to line and I've gone from soft and flabby to hard and toned!

Nailed all the robot masters, yet 2 hours ago I could even get to one - let alone beat him!

Feeling pretty pumped right now as I really had to get into the old school zone to nail some of these levels!

                              Good Stuff!

Just been looking at the achievements for the Xbox 360 version...Jeez! They are a whole other kettle of fish!

                              Complete the game without continuing
Defeat all the bosses using the megabuster
                              Complete the game without dying!
Complete the game 5 times in 1 day!!

screw that! I'm battling hard to just to stay alive, kudos to anyone who gets any of these achievements!

I haven't even beat a single boss in this yet, had to break out the saturn usb pad in the end as I can't get on with the PS3 d-pad, managed to get a bit further in most stages then. Came so close to beating Concrete Man, he had one bar left and I died

Do you actually unlock real achievements in the 360 version then as in the ps3 one it's just in game ones, no actual trophies.
