First play impressions?

This game is boring. It's as much fun as watching loading bars.

To put it into context, I've not played my PS3 for months so I needed to install about 2 updates with about 3 reboots and then the game itself needs to update with 57Mb of updates.

So after buying the game and popping home to play it at lunch, I've not actually played the game yet! I've left it updating the game and charging the pad.

Hmmm... I think I'm going to have to buy a bluetooth headset and a 2nd pad though. It's getting pricey, this!

Ha ha, y'know as I walked back to the car with LBP in my pocket, I too thought I'm not really sure what I've just bought. A kind of Blue Peter model of Mario is what I'm expecting at present...

Wasn't sure what to expect about this game, hadn't read much about it, didn't play the beta and the promotional videos i watched didn't seem to make much sense to me.

Gotta say i've been enjoying this game alot since i got it yesterday, have only been playing story mode so far to figure out how to play.
The little puzzles are really clever and well designed, although it does get a little furstrating when there's a prize bubble juuuuuuuust out of reach and i can't figure it out lol.

The creation mode i haven't really figured out yet, went through a few of the tutorials and made a bit of a really badly designed half a stage LOL
Seems good though, i like the way the game teaches you how to play but also leaves u to figure out stuff by yourself.

Hopefully will try out multiplayer later, thanks to elaniel and SK DCFC for adding me.

Tried out necronomicon's roller coaster stage as well and hearted

Just got my playstation eye this morning so gonna start making some more stickers later

So I'm hoping to get my wife playing this so I've just gone out to get a 2nd pad.

£40?! Sheesh! Oh and for the best part of half-a-tonne you don't even get the USB charging cable! Not that the one that comes with the PS3 is long enough to charge it whilst playing except if the PS3 is on your lap...

I managed to pick up one of those Gioteck Bluetooth headsets for £20 in Game when I bought the pad so I saved about £15 on that, I think.

It's an expensive game, this LittleBigPlanet!

Ah, so now I know what Little Big Planet is. It's a platformer. With customisation. And a level creator tool.

And some of the most beautiful presentation, feel and music of any game I've played. This is quite wonderful. I'm loving this so far.

It's worth playing for the cheery music and Stephen Fry alone - everything else is just a bonus lol.

The music is gorgeous. I know some of it is licensed but is the menu and pre-level stuff composed for the game or are they pre-existing tracks? I'd love to have those tracks.

I can't get 100% on Skate to Victory. I am missing a sticker which goes on a shield emblem where all of the ghosts are. Does anyone know where I can get hold of it? It's all I need to 100% the gardens..


edit: Got it, you need to do some tutorials for level creation. Was leaving that til I had completed it!
