My LBP is telling me I have some type of connection that doesn't allow others to connect well. Haven't had a problem with any other game yet so not sure what that's about. It directed me to their website for info but I can't seem to find anything on it - it could be there but their website is prettier than it is functional. Anyone know what that might be about?

Check you network settings and your router for NAT...turn it on if possible.

I had this problem in the past and so has my bro, I managed to sort but he hasn't...

Doesn't matter if your using a wired connection though...

It's amazing how laggey this game can be, hopefully the servers will pick up as this goes along. I'm slowly settling into the single player and community levels and its ok. The level editor still leaves me cold, its way too dry, fiddly and time consuming a system for me to gain any enjoyment out of if I want to make anything worthwhile. Gonna be interesting to see how this pans out for me, either it'll slowly drift into non-play or suddenly click and be addictive. I never use the bubble items I find but its almost Crackdown-Orb style addictive to collect them.

Yeah, you'll need to make sure you have NAT type 2 (It's in the network settings).

More information here. To get NAT type 2 you would probably need to enable uPnP or set up some port forwarding, which I think is as follows:

TCP: 80, 443, 5223
UDP: 5223, 3478, 3479, 3658

Well as long as there are idiots out there stupid enough to pay for these things then I'm sure Sony will keep chucking it out there, thanks to you (and im sure lots of others) this wont be the first bit of overpriced dlc we see

Overpriced DLC hardly limited to LBP though, surely its down to the customer if they feel its worth it then so be it...

The problem for me is I do want new sackboy items but the pricing is horrid.

There's a lot of costumes in games. I'm sure with creative stickering and decorations you could make your Sackboy looks very distinct.

While I too think the pricing is steep, no-one is forced to buy them. I'm not buying them! I'll get all the freebies, and maybe, maybe buy a costume if it's totally amazing.
