Can't you get a VGA cable and plug your PS3 in to your PC monitor?

I don't think Sony have brought one out yet, I think that's a rather costly job as well, getting all manner of converters and ****.

That cable would surely work? You don't need any fancy converter boxes or anything, just pump a native RGB through VGA and your PC monitor will synch up.

Or stop buying games for a little bit and get a cheap LCD TV with HDMI

You just connect it up to your monitor by the looks of it and thats that.

The people in the comments are referring to the Wii when they say you need to connect it to a TV aswell.

Hmm, how would I get the sound to output though? Thank you everyone for all the help by the way!

The cable would be fine if you have a widescreen monitor, since it will just take the source 1280x720 or whatever and output at the same resolution. If you're hooking up to a non-widescreen monitor, I'd go with the HD BOX PRO, since that lets you select output aspect ratio and resolution. It's what I use.

Interesting piece of kit. However, it's around 50 euros with postage. I'd put that money towards a proper TV

I suppose it would have a slot to connect to your pc speakers, same as the Dreamcast VGA box.

                          Back on topic.

I gave up on this last night, i just couldn't put up with the god awful graphics no more. Very Low resolution textures everywhere, plastic character models and lack of any decent graphical detail to speak of in the normal realm.

The dogs look like something i made out of red plasticine when i was 6.

Alex moves way too slow, he looks like he is moving faster than he acually is. He also has the loudest steps i've heard in a game for awhile.

Its probably just me, i just couldn't put up with it for a Silent Hill game.

In the end I remapped O to be fast attack/interact and X to dodge.

That works a treat, dont have to keep fraffing about changing to default after every load screen!
Sorry to go back to this issue but did you have to change control settings each time you reload the game? Tried playing this earlier and it's really pissing me off as I can't assign map to triangle, meaning that when I go to interact with O, it pulls up the map first.

Think I'll just sell this and go for the 360 vesion.

I know what you mean mate. I was playing this last night and every time I got to a new section the controls would go all messed up. O would be assigned to interact and seeing the map, very very annoying!
