Fable 2 has taken me alot longer than Oblivion to grow on me. But i'm loving it now as i have found where i am in the world so to speak. When i first started this game i felt completly overwhemled by it in fact i'm still trying to work out how Peter is thinking this could be handled by a casual person.

I'm now completly lost in it like i was with Oblivion. I'm certainly going to be trying to get all the achievements on this. I don't do it for many games at all.

The game is growing on me, finally had a makeover (mullet obv), got the free aim mode and some new weapons. Still think the game is somewhat confined. I was expectiving Oblivion style open ended terrain etc, but instead get large areas/levels. Most of the time being obstructed by a large rock/cliff/fall/sea etc.

TBH it was only when you sent me that cast off womans skirt in-game and I realised you were calling me a sissy girl, that I finally got the message

not expecting oblivion size ....but is it bigger then the original fable ?

I have no idea as i haven't finished it yet. But the towns & environments feel 10x bigger than they did in the first game.

Seems like I've experienced a game-breaking bug as I can't speak to the abbot in Oakfield - every time I enter the temple he's just standing around looking at 2 monks not saying anything.

Reading the forums on the Lionhead website it seems a few other people seem to have had the same problem. Apparently they're working on a patch for it but I'm really not sure I can be bothered waiting for it if I'm just going to get stuck by another bug a few hours down the line - the game just isn't worth it.

All this bug and glitch talk is a litte worrying! I'm somewhat put off playing incase I encounter a game breaker and I've been realling enjoying things so far!

                    Hope they sort it soon!

There is only one known show-stopping bug, which it looks like icarus has fallen foul of. The rest are at worst mildly irritating.

Tried local coop earlier, it's awful. Extremely difficult to control with that camera, it does very little to zoom in and out when characters separate so you keep getting stuck and the combat isn't at all improved. It just flatout doesn't work, on reflection I think time would have been better spent smoothing the experience out (and adding in a bloody map of the world!!) but I guess it was worth a shot.

Is it possible to move the camera freely around when playing online co-op? Or are you bound by the same camera and length of how far you can seperate?

Going from what I read on the Lionhead forums, the game is as buggy as hell. Not sure how many of them are game-breaking though.

Why do we as gamers consistently have to pay £40+ for the 'privilege' of playing unfinished, sub-standard products? Do we all have the word MUG tattooed on our foreheads?
