Bought the map pack, purely because at that price, I couldn't resist it Pricing is really important to me with DLC, and £1.50 odd a track (I don't count the reskinned tracks) is a good price point

Initial impressions are very favourable. Not played it in a while, and once again I was blown away by the visuals. Best looking visuals in a racer I've ever seen, but then I don't go for the realistic visuals others love. Between this and Burnout Paradise, I feel I've got two the most fun races around right now

Quicksands is OK, a stretched figure of 8 up and down a coast line. Probably the most dull track in the whole game, yet still fun with all the mayhem going on around you.

Engorged is my fav of the pack. There's a similar map in the main game, where you race alongside rapids, and down them if you like.

Dark Fire Swamp reminds you how much fun it must be being a map designer for this. You can get real creative and carve multiple routes all over the show. I'm not the biggest fan of the volcanic theme in the game as a whole, bit it works here very well.

Very pleased with the map pack, will definitely get the next one if it hits the same pricepoint

Did you play the new maps in free play mode or online?
I'm enjoying the Speed events so far but I'm a little disappointed the new maps don't appear in them much.
I don't know how the maps will appear in ranked online matches either, will they only be available if everyone has them.
I had a go of some new maps in a custom game but was completely lost in most of them!
I hope they will release a proper festival event as DLC which favours the new tracks, as limiting where they can be used is really annoying similar to the 1st game where they released some good tracks as DLC but it was limited where you could play with them.
I'll probably get the next DLC pack as well even though I know there's no new events with them unfortunately.

Just jumped into Wreckreation and played them as 3 lap races there. Did have a quick glance in the Festival but didn't easily see them, was late so didn't look much though.

For anybody who's interested, the Adrenalin Expansion is up in the HK Store for HK$60:00 already. Not sure how long it'll be up before it's removed though.

I'd imagine that it would be locked to the HK version of the game.
